If you want to drive to 121/Preston area, I have a great person--she is really good and does great cut/color--Cassie ###-###-####
I'm sure many of these questions have been asked but I truly would love your opinion! I've only been living in Texas for 2 years now and I'm not used to paying over $150 for just an "ok" haircut and highlights. I've been getting my hair highlighted for years now so I know if it's good or bad. I would love any recommendations for a hair stylist you know and use or have been referred too. I'm looking in North Dallas area, preferably the Frisco area but willing to drive into Plano and Addison area too.
Thanks!!!

I live in Frisco & had the same problem as you mentioned with not being able to find anyone to do anything to my waist-length hair for under $100 until I found a small shop on Main street called Hair Impressionist. It's definitely not a fancy/foo-foo kind of place & actually reminds me of the neighborhood beauty shops my mom used to go to back in the 1960's. But they do a GREAT job & charge a very reasonable amount of $$. Both my 84-year-old mom & I go there regularly. Last Saturday I had my roots touched up & my ends & bangs trimmed with wash & style. It cost me $45. There are 3 ladies who work there: Rose, Deborah, & Trish. I usually go to Rose. To give you an idea of what a great place this is, Rose picks up elderly ladies at their homes, brings them to the salon to do their hair, then drives the back home.
The stylists at Von Anthony Salon in Frisco are great. www.vonanthonysalon.com ###-###-####
In this area, you're not going to get what you want for only $100. I go to Toni Richardson at Stephen Rae Salon in Willow Bend, and her cuts are awesome! I have short hair, and it still looks good even after letting it grow out for 3 months. She does free bang trims/neck cleanup in between actual cuts, too. I usually pay around $150 for the cut/highlight, and have never been unhappy with the results. ###-###-####
And trust me...I've tried others in the area, but Toni looks at you and just "gets" what to do. Good luck!
$120 plus tip - 2 color highlight & cut. Jessica @ Tony's Hair in The Colony. I've never been disappointed.
I go to Priscilla Gomez at Josey Ranch Hair designers in Carrollton. Maybe give her a call and see what she can do for you!
L'Image in Plano (Park/Preston) area is a very good salon and they use quality products.
As for $100..... NOPE. I pay about $150 for a one step color and trim but they are awesome. You get what you pay for at L'Image.
Here is the name and number of the person that cut my hair. Liz Rose ###-###-####. She does my friend's highlights and will do mine the next time. The salon specializes in cancer recovery in wigs. Liz rents a booth there. A cut is $40 and I know that my friend paid less than $100 for both cut and color.

I get my hair cut for $30 at Proimage Salon at Legacy and 75. I think highlights start around $60ish (have never done it). It's in an Asian shopping center so you might want to call and see if they do highlights in your hair color. I use Vicki but my friends use the owners (brother and sister) and they have always been happy with them. ###-###-####
