My sister is great, has over 25 years experience...& with a razor too! She has a licensed salon in her home in Grandville...56th & Ivanrest area. Her haircuts run $10-15.00. Her name is Judi & phone # is ###-###-####...give her a call!! ~ J. ~
I am looking for a few recommendations for new hairstylists. I would like someone who isn't just out of school; who has at least a few years of experience. I am looking for someone who has great recommendations when I go, but doesn't pressure me into something I don't want. If they like to use a razor to cut my hair that would be a bonus too! :) I am also pretty willing to travel anywhere within 20 minutes (I live in Wyoming).
Thank you.

I have known Lori for quite a while now. I am very picky on who I go to so she is AWESOME! Lori actually owns the saloon but her prices are excellent. Alot less expensive then the chain saloons. Tell her I sent you. Good luck!

Hello T.,
I really love my hairstylist. Her name is Elizabeth and she works at Profile Salon on 4643 Alpine Aue, Comstock Park. Phone ###-###-####. She knows the lates styles and she's very into her work and very helpfull. She doesn't talk a lot so it you're looking for some that talks your head off she not the one. She will talk if you ask her questions. I hope this help you out.

I actually go and see Jaime Moore @ Allure right off of E. Paris. She is AMAZING!!! Tell her I sent you and she may give you a discount for the referral...not completely sure though :) I live in Kentwood and it only takes me about 15 minutes to get there. Good luck!

I would try Attitudes it's right by the Grandville banquet hall. A stylist there by the name of Stacey Stevens, is amazing!! She used to work at Design 1 (which makes you go through quite a bit of training first to just get a job there.) She left so she could have more flexible hours. She has been doing hair for 9 years (that is a guess, but I know I have been seeing her for about that long). Her prices are awesome, however your hair cut is saloon quality!
I've been going to Phillip of Phillip Michael Salons since before he owned his own place. I've seen the work all of his stylists do, and they're all good. Phillip is really hard to get an appointment for now! It's at the new strip mall across from Metro (right behind the Biggby's). ###-###-####

I would totally recommend Lannies in Hudsonville. It's by Hudsonville Lanes if you know where that is on 32nd street.
Lannie (pronounced Lonnie, she is Vietnamese I think) uses a razor on my hair and she is the first person I have found that I really really like.
The cuts cost 18 dollars, a good price for the quality that you get.
Her info is -

Hi T.,
I go to a woman named Sunshine (Sunny) at Philip Anthony by Centrepointe Mall who has been with them for about 10 years(?). I have been very happy with her. I have been going to her for a year and half and she always does something slightly different with my hair so I don't get bored but it is never drastic. She gives advice but listens when I say I don't like something and it is always a perfect cut. I can't even tell you how many compliments I get on my hair from all different people. Unfortunately she just went on maternity leave but will be back mid October. I originally went in to her for my first cut and said I want something new what would look good and it has just progressed from there.
Their number is ###-###-####. hope this helps!
