Steven Murray is awesome! Experienced and gives a really good haircut. I just blow dry mine and it takes on a style with little to no effort. Also great with color. Has a private suite-centrally located near tollway and trinity mills.

i highly recommend studio 720 salon in little elm.
i've been going there for a couple years now and everyone there does a wonderful job. the atmosphere is like visiting with friends; i love it.

I just went with a totally new hairstyle that scared me but I love it. I go to Jump, Jive, and Wail and ask for Shelby. It is in downtown Frisco on Main Street. She did a great job. I have a very round face too because I'm overweight but I was actually able to do a graduated bob and still not add too much weight to my face because I had highlights put in with it so it looks younger and in style.

I use Lindsay at Sean David salon in Plano, corner of Legacy and the Tollway and I really like her.

I have a great gal I have used for 10 years. She's at Salon Studio 3 and her name is Stephani. She's independent. She has never given me a bad haircut and I have changed my style many times. I go to a fabulous stylist at Beauty Brands in Plano (by Willowbend Mall)###-###-####. Her name is Kim Allen-Huskey. She is very good, very creative, and has experience with all types of hair. I've not had a bad cut or color from her in all the time I've gone to her. There have been many times when I've knew I wanted to do something different, but didn't really know what, and I just give her few guidleines (i.e. length, color shade) and she always comes up with a perfect fit!

I recommend Thu at Toni & Guy at Stonebriar Center. I just had a huge "lot" of hair cut off and she did a fantastic job. I have a demanding career and a 2 yr. old and a husband who also has a demanding career, so we're up at 5, out the door at 5:50 am and home at 5:30-6, so I told her I needed a fast, easy to style (5-10 minutes) hairstyle and she made that happen. I brought her in a few photos and she used the 2 I liked the best and kind of put my hair in the middle of them. I also have wavy/curly hair and it's a great cut and look! She's also sooo personable and helpful giving you points on how exactly to make it look it's best!! Good luck, I know it's hard to find just the right person!!

I am Vietnamese and I have a good stylist. I have pretty think, straight hair and she razor cuts it and it works really well for me. She's very reasonable. I remember it was about $35 for a shampoo, cut and style. I'm on bedrest with my pregnancy so I haven't had a cut since New year's eve. She's in North Dallas on Midway just south of George Bush. One warning - she's not the best stylist, but the cut is usually GREAT! so, I make sure I have time to go home and shower and style my hair if I plan to go out that day. I go to Salon LaBella at Legacy and Lebanon in Frisco and Boutros is my stylist. I have never sent anyone to him that didn't love what he did. A cut is about $55 but I think it is worth it. His # is ###-###-####

Ok - this is horrible advice, but I actually travel to Houston where there is a huge Asian community. I go to a salon called Pony Cuts, and all of the stylists there are Asian and do a good job. I'm also looking for a local hair place, so I'm going to check the responses.

Without a doubt, Toni & Guy...there is one at Willow Bend. The education they receive in hairdressing is unmatched and they will do a fantastic job. Invest in one that is at the top of the tier in their training, art director status. Some TIGI haircare products will keep your style looking its best.

Salon Sommet in Coppell, Sunny is the lady's name and she is Korean. Very good colorist as well as detailed and artistic with h/c and styles.
