Has anyone had great personal experience with a Doula that would be available in Denton? THANKS!

Congratulations!! I wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy and delivery. I have never used a doula but I have had all my children naturally with certified nurse midwives at the hospitals in Denton. I would recommend calling the Inanna Birth Center at ###-###-#### for a doula reference. I am also pregnant and due at the beginning of Sept. I see a dr. in Denton not a midwife this time. I have considered having a doula but I have not decided. I know my dr. is very supportive of natural childbirth. I am taking the childbirth class that Jean Sala (midwife) - the director of the Inanna Birth Center. I took it with my first child. If you plan or desire to have a natural birth I would highly recommend taking a natural childbirth class like the one taught by Jean called Birthing from Within.
Kathryn O'brien. I had her and she is wonderful.
M.,
I'm part of Greater Lewisville Mothers & More,(www.mothersnmore.com)and we have a member in our group
that is a Doula. She lives in Denton and has a website... http://embracebirth.com/
I was also going to say, once you've had your baby and things at home settle down after the baby, please check into our great Mom's group OR you can join us on May 20th for a fun OPEN HOUSE! It'll be a great way to find about our group and meet other Moms like you soon will be!
Take care & congrats!
