Looking for a Good Preschool in Johns Creek/Alpharetta

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good preschool in the John’s Creek area? (I have heard amazing this about Johns Creek Untied Methodist and am already on the wait list!) I currently work part-time, but am expecting twins in February, so would like to get my 2 year old son settled into a preschool program before the babies arrive. My son just turned 2 in August, so I know that he may need to get into a MMO program this year and we are definitely open to that.

I am hoping to work until December, so am looking at starting him in preschool after the first of the year. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for your time!

Hi K.. Congrats on the (soon to be) new babies!! That's really exciting. I have started doing some research on Pre-K b/c I have a 2 year old as well. While I do not have any recommendations on specific schools, I do recommend checking out this website:

http://www.sitesearch.decal.state.ga.us/georgiadecal/site...

You can pull up all the schools in GA that offer Pre-K and get information on each facility including contact information, the number of Pre-K slots available and site reports. I hope this helps and good luck!

call parkway baptist preschool...it is on state bridge road right past home depot, across the street from whole foods...up on the hill. all three of my children went there...one is still there. the teachers and director are so loving and great...i don't know if there are openings, but it's worth a check...great school...and the hours are a little longer than some others...9:3--1:30...good luck!

I am not sure if you have gotten any reponses yet, but we have had a great experience at Cross of Life Christian Montessori. Its in Roswell, but very close to the Alpharetta border and many of the kids live in Lake Windward. They have a toddler program that starts at 18 mos and goes up to age 6. Its a very small school which I like becuase it's its own family. Good luck!
