Looking for a Good Place to Get My Son's Haircut

We recently moved to the area and I'm looking for a good place to get my children's haircut. My son doesn't have long hair or a buzz cut--just a typical little boy's cut. He used to go with me to my salon, but since we've moved, I haven't found a salon here for myself. Any suggestions on where to take him?

What can I do next?

You don't say what area you've moved to, but I love A Little Off the Top in Encino. Personally, I love Rachel, but everyone's really nice and friendly there. Their number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

I have taken my boys to Kids Cuts in Thousand Oaks on Moorpark Rd. right across from El torritto. Ask for Dianna she is the best one there and I go back if she isn't there. Do NOT let the owner Barry cut his hair he is terrible. I have also taken them to Super cuts on Thousand Oaks Blvd across from Roxy'x they have always done a good job too. As for you go to Andrea's in T.O. ask for Debbie she is awesome and great with colors too the only thing is she is busy so you need to make an appointment a few days ahead of time. She is also the cheapest one in town. She does a weave cut & blow dry for like $60.00 she cuts & colors my hair & daughters 18 plus many of my friends too.

Hi K.,

My son and I both LOVE Alba at the Supercuts in West Hills (next to Trader Joe's). She has been there for years and she does such a great job on my son's hair. We have tried many of the "kiddie" haircut places, and no one has been able to do the great job she has! PLUS it's only like $12!!

Good luck!

If you're in Simi, my sister in law, Melissa Parada, works at Belle a More on L.A. avenue. Actually, amongst my in-laws there are about eight hair stylists and she is the one I take my kids to. She's super sweet and quick. I guess I should note that my eldest is an aspiring actor/model and I take him to her for all his haircuts. Good luck!

I don't know where you are, but I have been taking my son to Over the Rainbow in Northridge (on Tampa) for years. He has a traditional boys cut too. I go to Denise. She also does adults and I have used her for myself. They are very friendly and great with the kids. ###-###-####
