hello, I am looking for a good inexpensive photographer in kansas city. We would like to have photos taken of our 2 month old alone and with my husband and I. I would like to have the photos taken outside of a studio, not set on any locations but I want to avoid being in a confined area where we are likely to pick up a bug! Any suggestions would be appreciated!

My daughter just had her preschool photos taken by Marty Joseph, and they are WONDERFUL! She took a few traditional shots, but then she took the kids outside for some candid photos. I don't know that I would say I am inexpensive per say, but I am certainly reasonable and quite good at what I do :) I specialize in outdoor, natural light photography and work with infants often. hi, My husband,my 3 kids and I just got our pictures taken 2 weeks ago. We did it outside at the park. Julie took our pictures, J Line photography,###-###-#### or check out her website. She was GREAT and so easy to work,talk with. I have seen the proofs and they are GREAT!! The price was good too. your going to pay a little more for a someone to meet up with you and do it outside rather then going to target or somewhere like that,and the photos are so much nicer so they to me are wroth the money. check her it!! I got a bunch of pictures and she made a picture book for me,all of it including the setting fee was right around $150. I think thats pretty darn good:)
Kind of depending on what you are looking for picture wise, we just had family portraits taken by J. Smith Innovations and they were great! We've always done pics with JC Penney's in the past and this was a great change. We worked on our schedule, and I love the fact that we get to keep our images and can print anywhere we want. My husband likes to do photo editing so now we can make our own custom images. They do indoor our outdoors... website is jsmithinnovations.com

I used Catherine VandeVelde at littlebirdphoto.com for all of my kiddo's pics. She's wonderful, has a great eye, charges a reasonable fee (about $75) and you get all of the photos on CD for you to print wherever/whenever you want!
my son's pics are the second, fourth and fifth photos on her little ones gallery page. we are SO happy with her work!
