i know it's getting to the last minute here, but time has just been flying by. i need to find a reputable yet relatively affordable (dont want to pay more than $300) photographer who will take multiple pics of me and my 5 month old twins and my parents, and my aunt's family for a nice holiday portrait or card maybe. i'd love someone who could include a cd of all the photo's. i'm trying to avoid stores like kiddie kandids, sears, etc, because of the timing issue... need someone who will take time to try to work with all of the children without being impatient. would love some outdoor shots as well. thanks in advance!

Have you heard of Portrait Innovations? There is one by the Target at Tollway and Parker (I think) in Plano. They take a ton of pics, have many scenes, you can even do a wardrobe change and they were very reasonable and you get all your pics in an hour. They have done a fabulous job for us several times. She does amazing work and has taken our family, and my daughters pictures since she was born (3 years ago) I have so many beautiful photos of my daughter, and expect the ones from Saturday to be equally beautiful! The amazing part is she charges $175 and you own the CD, so you can print them or have them printed...or use them on holiday cards. Great value for what you get.

A....I know you mentioned you didn't want Sears but the one in the Denton mall has a great photographer named Kellie. She is the manager. She is so good with kids and is very patient. I would not use the others that work there but she is awesome. They can do the CD as well. Only thing is you will not have outdoor shots, but as a short time frame and good quality she is excellent.
A., we recently used Stephanie McLaughlin. She was great. We did some outdoor shots with my sister's family. We had 10 people in the photo with kids ranging from 20 months to 16. She was great. Very patient, FABULOUS prices too. The sitting fee was $30 and the photos themselves were very reasonable. We also had her do Custom Christmas Cards for us - which she had turned around in 4 days.

You should really look at Clarine Smith Photography. She is honestly the best photographer I have ever worked with. Her photos are true pieces of art. For $200 you get a bunch of images on a CD and a photo release so that you can print as many pictures as you like. She also recommends a great professional photo printing website that does a great job printing your photos. She edits all of her photos and I am really not kidding when I say that they are works of art. She manages to get the most amazing shots and is extremely patient with fussy kids. My three year old just thought she was the greatest thing since sliced bread. She will shoot at a location of your choosing.
