Hi there- we're fairly new to the area (Summerfields- near park glen and fossil creek). We're looking for a dentist. My husband and I as well as our almost 5 year old. I'm a pretty big wimp- my previous dentist let me have gas for cleanings. Any good dentists for kids and wimps out there? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi J.! I too am afraid of the dentist from bad experiences as a child. Dr. Roland Limosnero is GREAT and his staff too! They know to have the gas ready when I come in....LOL!! He has an office in Colleyville and Justin.

Hi, J.. Welcome to the area. I live close by in Trace Ridge, just off North Tarrant and North Beach (our neighborhood is behind the Super Wal-Mart). We absolutely love, love, love our dentist and his entire staff. We see Dr. Huckabee at Huckabee Dental in Southlake. I've been going to him since we moved to the Keller area in 2001. I cannot say enough nice things about him and his staff. He actually recently had another dentist join his practice whom I haven't seen yet, so I can't comment on the other dentist, but I am also a wimp when it comes to the dentist, and Dr. Huckabee offers sedation dentistry and such for those like us. The hygienist has made me so comfortable that I haven't had to use it so far. Also, they are GREAT with the kids. I have a four year old daughter and she has been there for two cleanings, and she is super timid, and they have really tailored what they accomplish during that cleaning to her comfort level. i.e. She was wanting no part of the x-rays, so they didn't force the issue. They also have pint size chairs in their waiting room along with a collection of children's dvds to help keep them entertained, etc., and the kids get to get a toy out of the toy box after their appointment.

My daughter was so scared of the dentist that we could only put her to sleep to fix her teeth. We took her to about 5 different dentists before we found the folks at Next Century Dental on 377. I also live in that area and would reccommend them to anyone. She now has braces (that would have NEVER happened with any of the other dentists) and she is no longer afraid of the dentist. It was a miracle that they could calm her and treat her all in a day. ###-###-#### is their number. Hope this helps.
Hello...I'm near you (Beach/North Tarrant). Try Todd D. Strickland out of Southlake - he's so nice, friendly, caring! My boys, 12 and 13 really, really like him. They say he's funny!! There is no stress for my husband and I either...the dentist in general is no one's favorite. I've seen two others in the area since I've lived here and I'm not changing now!!
