My family absolutely loves First Baptist of McKinney on Louisiana. Give me a call sometime if you want to talk. I have an 8 & 3 year old. Also, I teach Sunday school for 3-5 grades. My number is ###-###-####
I am a new 25 yr old mother, my husband and I recently moved to Mckinney and we are having a hard time finding a church as wonderful as the one we came from. We are looking for a bible or baptist church that has lifegroups or bible study groups with people in our age group, and possibly a new parents lifegroup. Also the church must have a good nursery. Any suggestions?

Hi E.,
I'd like to invite you to visit our church. It is Northeast Bible Church located in Plano at the corner of Park and Los Rios. We have members from McKinney and we offer the life groups that you mentioned. Our small groups are called Discovery groups and has various meeting times. We also just started our women's ministry offering small groups meeting at various times throughout the week. We have just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and are a fairly small congregation, so would be perfect for someone new to come in and get involved. The website is www.nebcfamily.org. Take a look and I hope you will consider visiting. Thanks, K. M.
Try Fellowship Church Plano campus. It's off of 75 and Spring Creek by Garden Ridge. They have all you are looking for. Check out their website at www.fellowshipchurch.com/plano
If you haven't already - try McKinney Fellowship Bible Church www.mcfbc.org
They have the things you mentioned and they also have a mother's room if you aren't quite ready to leave your baby but don't want to miss the service.
Hey,
I have been a member of the Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco for over 6 years and I love it there. The senior pastor there is Chuck Swindle, the writer. You may want to check it out. It is located off of Preston and Lebanon, I don't live in Frisco but it is worth the drive. Their web site is www.Stonebriar.org
Hi E.!
It's me again. Where did you guys move here from? We moved here from California 8 years ago. We just started going to a new church a couple of months ago and love it. It's called Four Corners and it's on the SW corner of 121 and Custer. Their website is thecornerschurch.com. We love it there. I'll actually be working in the nursery during second service tomorrow and next week. Hope to see you there.
We go to Cottonwood Baptist off 121 and Stacy. Its great! I am 22 and my husband in 25. We dont go like we should but we are trying to get back involved with it now. The preacher is what I love about it. He is so great you just have to come and give him a chance at least... you can google for number and directions!
E., my husband and I are kind of in the same situation. We are a little older and have been members of a church in the PLano area for 10 years. After having a child it makes it very hard to travel to the church every week, etc. So we have been visiting churches in our area,(McKinney). We have been visiting Cottonwood Creek Baptist church off of 121 and really like it. The nursery is really good and believe me I have been to quite a few to check out the security at the churches. This is one of the better ones. We have gone to a Sunday school class once and really enjoyed it. This might be a good match for you and your family, try it out.
Hi E.,
My Husband and I came from different religious backgrounds and tried sever al churches before we found McKinney Fellowship Bible Church. WE LOVE IT! We have been going here for four years and can't imaging going anywhere else. It is very laid back and has everything you have mentioned you are looking for. Lifegroups, smallgroups, Incredible childcare and childrens ministries. There are so many things to choose from to get involved in and meet your own special needs. The staff and congregation are so warm and welcoming, we knew on our first day there that it was our home!
I have a 2,3, 6 y/o. They all go to their own classes during adult worship and hate to leave when it is over. We also do AWANA, VBS every summer etc. They have a mothers day out during the week and childcare during the weekdays and evenings for adult biblestudies.
I strongly encourage you to visit and see God's awesome power at work among the people at MCFBC! Service times are SUnday's at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 - childcare and children's classes available during all these times. Just visist the Promiseland hall when you go in for the Childrens ministries!
I pray you find your home church where ever it may be!
Blessings -
