I think it would be more natural to call your child's pediatrician and ask them.

I really hope someone here can help me! I have seen post after post on different web sites (including on here) about how great lithy tree works for cough in infants and adults. I found a site to order some from, it arrived today, and now I have no clue how much to give my 6 month old daughter for her cough! I have spent the last 45 minutes online looking for how much I should give her, but all I can find is everyone saying that they used it and it works so great. Has anyone on here every used it and how much should I give a 6 month old that weighs 15 lbs? Or does anyone have a phone number for a natural doctor that I could even call and ask? PLLLLEEEEEEESE? LOL
She has been checked out by a doctor already who didn't know what was wrong. She just coughs every now and then and it isn't major. He wanted me to put her on 2 diff antibiotics and an inhaler for asthma.. all "just in case" it may be sinusitis, bronchitis, or asthma! There is no way I am pumping her full of meds for "just in case"!
This in not a cough supressant. It helps to drain and clear the lungs.
There have been many regular doctors and many homeopathic doctors that recommend Lithy Tree, I just do not know one.
If you have never used this, or don't know anything about it, please don't answer. I am not stupid, I am not against doctors or medicine, I am just not going to pump my baby full of antibiotics and other stuff when it is unessasary. I am asking for others who have used this to please let me know how they used it. I don't mean to sound like I have an attitude, but I hate it when people start telling you things that you already know. I just need an answer to the question.
She sleeps elevated every night. I have been using saline drops in her nose everyday, but she really does't have a runny nose anyway. It's just an occassional cough that sounds kinda phelmy. She only coughs a couple times a day.
Angela and Shelly, THANK YOU! And Shelly, yes I have been doing the vapor rub on the feet. I honestly did every single thing that anyone suggested, the only thing I wanted was an answer to my question and thank you so much for being the one to give it to me! It can be really hard sometimes when you try to do things in a more "natural" type of way because most people really don't understand it. Many people would rather give man made chemicals than something that comes from the earth naturally. If I have to I will indeed give anitbiotics and meds, but when it's not really a serious condition, why put all that extra junk in their bodies? Thanks so much.

10-15 drops, and the bottle should comes with a droplet. It may sound a lot, but they are tiny drops. I use to put it in my daughter's milk, or rice cereal after she's on solids, twice a day. one other thing helps with coughing is to put "Baby Vapor Rub" on bottom of her feet and put a pair socks before she goes to bed.
Other than Lithy Tree, I also keep a bottle of Briair Rose from the same maker/manufacturer, for decongestion. Same dosage, and most of the times when there's a cough, there's a congestion for my daughter, so I use them both at the same time.
Mine two are 6 & 2 now, and I still keep bottles of them at home. I only wish i found out about this when my 6 year old was a baby, so she didn't have to be on so many cold and cough meds that were recalled a few years ago. Best luck!

Just as I wouldn't "pump" her full of inhaler & asthma meds, I wouldn't give her anything that does not have clear cut instructions or FDA approval either. Sounds like you need a new pediatrician.
Don't ever give an infant a cough suppressant! They cannot cough on purpose to clear their throat, so they need to be able to do this to get the mucus up.

How about trying saline nasal spray, cold mist humidifier, and elevating the head of her bed before you give her anything? My boys (13 months and 4 years) both have colds and a cough right now but then never get more than what I listed above.
