My 8 month old son has just started to get his limbs stuck in between the crib rails. Please let me know if there is any advice or product out there that I can try with him!

So What Happened?

I think he just learned his lesson, after getting his little arm stuck about two weeks ago, he hasn't stuck his arms or legs in between the crib rails. I hope it lasts! Thanks for all the advise!

The breathable bumper is $20 at Babies R Us. It's wonderful to have especially if you have a scooter in the crib!

A friend of mine used something called 'breathable bumpers'. I think it was just a mesh weaving that lined the rails. It sounds like this would prevent any limbs from getting into the railings.

Bumpers! I didn't use bumpers until my son started rolling over. Then every time he rolled over he got a leg or an arm stuck in the crib slats and he would wake up screaming. It hasn't happened again since I put the bumpers in.

There are bumpers available, but if those don't work, you could install a kidshield to the crib. I had a childproofer come out to my house and do an evaluation and he left me a list of possible solutions for the many hazards.

Hope you find a solution!

I am having the same problem with my 6-month-old son. We have the breathable bumpers, but it's not solving the issue. He just takes his foot and pushes it down ... and eventually wedges a leg thru the slats :( Hope we both find a solution!
