It's alergy season so it could be infected adnoids. Do you have any ear pain or pain in the back of your throat?
Go to your primary care or an ENT for diagnosis. In the meantime, try some Allegra. It will help.
For a week now I have been getting lightheaded / headache / dizzy. I went online last night to see what It could be and I read about how a sinus infection could cause this.
This morning I noticed that my left nostril was clogged, but I didn't notice it before this morning.
Has anyone been through this before and has it be a sinus infection?
Did your Dr. give you an antibiotic for it. If so, how long did it take to go away?

Well, it could be a sinus infection, but it could be a lot of other things, too.
Low blood sugar, migraine, middle ear infection, low blood pressure, pregnancy and dehydration come to mind.
It's hard to tell what it could be without any other symptoms presenting so I have no idea what is needed to clear this up or how long it will take.
Since it's been a week and is not going away on it's own, it's time to take it to a doctor so they can get to the root of the problem before it gets any worse.
Sure could be! Is your face sore? I had a bad one in march and I was only stopped up on one side of my nose which then my ear filled with fluid causing my ear drum to bust. It was horrible agony! I had s'not coming out of my ear. I didn't have insurance so I toughed it out but I took echinea gold 2xs a day everyday. I didn't get full hearing back for almost a month. Go see the doc. No need to suffer if you don't have too!
I've had LOTS of sinus infections :( if you put your head down in between your knees and feel tremendous pressure in your cheeks/forehead then I would say yes. Also your snot will be yellowy/greenish if it's an infection. feel better! I know another mom said fever usually means an infection, but I hardly ever run a fever with sinus infections. But I do get super dizzy and lightheaded, sometimes they get so bad my teeth/jaw bones even hurt. Antibiotics help a ton - make sure you take the entire amount. You should see relief in 3-5 days I'd say.
What have you been eating? Lots of dairy?
Eat fruit for a couple days, and hydrate properly- take your body weight in pounds, divide in half- make that number ounces- that is your minimum water.
Take probiotics as well- that boosts your immune system.
best, k
Generally if you are NOT running a fever it's probably not a SI. Also-usually the pressure in your sinus cavities is really intense and you are incredibly stuffed up with SI's.
Infections need antibotics. Allergies also can make your sinus become inflamed and swollen. Best thing is to see the doctor.
My sinus infection starting going away day 1 after i got the antibiotics. The pain and pressure decreased everyday. Make sure to take ALL the anitboitics or the infection will come back and be harder to get rid of. Also, antibiotics decrease the effectiviness of birth controls, so u should use condemns as well.
