Yes, it works. Choose a reputable place. Since it's your face, you really should consider using a dermatologist office rather than just anyone. It may cost a litte more, but it's worth it in case of breaking out that can and does occur. It happened to me when I had my legs done, and she had the doctor come in and take a look and prescribe me medicine.

Sometimes they have a BOGO (buy one get one) and you can get your underarms done. I didn't care about having it, but it was free, so hey, I did it. I found that I LOVED it. The dark shadow from the hairs under the skin disappears forever. It's wonderful.

It does cost hundreds of dollars because you have to do it for a while, but it's worth it if you can afford to do it.

Chin area did not work for me because I have very light blonde fuzz. If the hair has no pigment, the laser can't find it. Now bikini area laser hair removal was absolutely fabulous and I'd do THAT all over again.

I've tried this before and my mom has also done it and in both cases, we had to return several times and it still isn't permanent. There is less hair, I guess, but there's still hair and it cost hundreds of dollars. Unfortunately, not worth it for me in the long run. Best of luck to you!
