HELP....we are thinking of selling our home but do not want to pay 6% commission to someone. Does anyone know a great real estate agent or have any experience trying to sell their home by themselves?
We *loved* our real estate agent when we bought in Sunnyvale. His name is Patrick Johnson (www.pjayrealtor.com) He's with Coldwell Banker, so I can't say the commission will be a steal, but he provided attentive personalized service. His office is in Cupertino, and I am pretty sure he serves the greater San Jose area.

I have WONDERFUL Real Estate agents who can definitely help you. I can't say I remember how much commission we paid them so check, but they were very hands on and super helpful. My husband must have called them SEVERAL times a day with hundreds of questions. They are Doug and Marion Wells with Ventura Barnett.
