I was wondering if anyone can suggest a really good real estate agent? I need someone to help me figure the market value of a house with and without fixing it up for sale. I have had nothing but bad experiences so far with the three people I have talked to. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Domenic "Jay" Zappia is WONDERFUL! ###-###-####. We used him when buying our first home, he wasn't pushy unlike two other agents who showed us homes (luckily we never signed contracts with them!) He spent an ENTIRE Saturday showing us homes in the area and it was really only supposed to be for the morning. But he didn't complain and he remained more than helpful and cheerful throughout the day, and luckily we found our house that day!
It was raining the night we moved in and we had water leaking into the basement through the foundation. The sellers conveniently forgot to mention that problem on the housing contract and our agent felt so badly about it that he personally bought the materials and came by to patch up the cracks (and their still holding 3 years later!) He buys homes fixes them up and sells on the side, so he's got handyman experience. He also ran the electric for our dryer downstairs as our housewarming gift. We insisted to pay him for it but he refused saying it was his gift to us.
His help was incredible. He certainly went WAY above the call of duty and job description. We are always happy to refer him to family and friends because he did so well by us. We will definitely call him when it comes time to sell our home and look for a new one in a couple years before our kids start school.

My suggestion would be to contact an RE Appraiser instead of a RE agent. Because an appraiser actually knows value of said property and can tell you if any improvments would change the value.
