JFF - Any Star Wars Mommies Out There?

My child (6yo) is a Star Wars fanatic. He has to be the bad guy most of the time, but, also enjoys being the good guy. The question is, How do we get 5 boys to act out a scene based on these characters for a variety show that only wants group performances?
The Emporer
Darth Vader
Annakin Skywalker (again, dealing with 1st graders!!)
Obi Won
Luke
Open to anything you've got! We have 2 weeks to get the act together for auditions!
Now, keep in mind - we, as adults, get it with the who is who and all that jazz - these are first graders who aren't putting it all together and so I want my son to have fun with it - I'm thinking more along the lines of a spoof, but, that's just me!
Now, I have ideas in mind, But, I know the other kids DADS are going to want their input too and I want to present more than my idea!

What can I do next?

Do the kids understand that all these characters shouldn't be seen together? If so, you've definitely got the makings of a spoof.

The Emporer interacts with Anakin and Darth Vader (playing up that they shouldn't be together... maybe telling Vader to go turn Anakin already or something)
Obi Wan interacts with Anakin and Luke... trying not to point out that they're related and will never actually meet (hi, I'm your son, but you won't know that until it's too late... sorry we won't get to go on any father-son fishing trips)... that sort of thing.
Definitely play up the fact that they shouldn't be together... and have humor for kids, but also for the parents!

You could do a quick skit, just let each kid pick their favorite scene, and everyone acts it out. Just put them in the order that it happened in the movies. Kinda like a synopsis. That way each scene will be quick, and each kid will be excited because they get to do their favorite part.

Have them act out their scene as the movie plays in the background. That way they won't freeze up, they can just follow the action on the screen. I'd choose a scene with more action than dialog and expect hilarious chaos, not actual acting. Good luck!

First of all they need to be told that Anakin and Vader are the same person.
My own 6 yr old gets this concept.

You can have the emperor turn Anakin and another child play the turned Vader.
Obi Won and Luke can fight Vader.
Or Anakin, Kenobi, and Luke can fight Vader and the Emperor, representing the internal struggle with in Vader. yep it's reaching for 1st graders.

Might be tough - Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader are the same person (Anakin became Darth Vader after he turned to the dark side) and Luke is his son, who didn't realize this until he was an adult and Anakin didn't even know Luke existed until years after he became Darth Vader. Are you trying to act out a scene from one of the movies or make up one of your own?

have you ever taken a look at the star wars fan films? Maybe they can give you an idea, or at least, some fun watching time. http://www.atom.com/channel/channel_star_wars

I havent watched any in the last couple of years, but there are usually some pretty good ones.
