I am looking for a website that will allow me to make monster truck invitations and print them out at home. The websites i have been to either you have to pay for them or download stuff. We are throwing my son a birthday party on the 26th so i need to get on the ball but having a set back with the invitations.. Any suggestions will help.

What can I do next?

Hope these help
http://www.kids-birthday-party-guide.com/monster-truck-in... (looks like you have to sign up for their free newsletter to print the applications, but as long as it's free, right???) and there's also www.dltk-cards.com.
I like to do them this way too because it never fails that I need just one more if I buy the pre-packaged invites and I feel like I can personalize it a bit more. You could also use a similar format to one of those and use clipart if you can't find exactly what you're looking for.
Good Luck!

Hi C.

This website lets you print out the design and the kids could be creative and color it themselves. You could have them bring the invitation back to the party already colored in and give a prize for the best one.

Hope this works. It's always good to keep them busy.

There are gobs of sites out there if you do a search for "free party invitations" - you just have to sort thru all the junk.

But for a quick one, I like DLTK-kids.com - they have lots of stuff including party invitations you can personalize and print. They'll even do an envelope if you're really feeling crafty!! I think they only have one monster truck picture but it's worth a look-see!! They also have coloring pages, and other stuff. It's a fun site that I've been using for years.

I'm also having a party on the 26th - a combo party for my daughter turning 12 and my son turning 15 - both September babies!! Have a fun day!!

Good Luck!!!

I used www.uprintinvitations.com last month for my son's birthday. You can pay $10 and as soon as you pay you are e-mailed the invitation to print at home. They are personalized so you can add a picture of your son. You are also able to have them printed at a local Target but it costs more. Hope you can find something that suits your theme.

Hi C.,
I did a monster truck theme last year, and had the same problem.. what i ended up doing was googling monster truck "images" - found a couple that i liked and copied them into an invite I made myself on WORD.. then just bought some invitations (paper) and printed them out.. turned out great, and it was cheaper!!
Have fun!!!

Try to google monster truck invitations. www.dltk-kids.com/crafts/birthday/invitations.html has free birthday invitations but not sure if they have monster trucks.

I'm not sure how many invites you have but you could find a coloring book of monster trucks and have your son color some pages and you can fill in the invite information. You could also mail an uncolored copy for the guest to color. Find monster truck stickers to decorate the envelope with.

Another thing is to find monster truck clip art and decorate one yourself. I found some a lot here: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&client=safari&a...

I made invites for my kids using the free clip art and Word program. We did Strawberry Shortcake and Super Heros.

Good luck and have fun!

See if you can find some monster truck pics on the internet that you can save to your computer. If you do - you can make the invites yourself. Just have the usual content on there:
What it is (Birthday Party for so and so)
When: 9/26/09
Time:
Where:
RSVP:
etc.

I like making them so that they are one page - no fold. Basically postcard size (4.25" x 5.5") or jumbo postcard size (5.5" x 8.5") This way you can buy the postcard paper stock or use regular card stock and just cut the paper in half or in 4's. These would work with Greeting Card envelopes or Invitation Envelopes.

It's helpful if you have some sort of creative software like American Greetings Create A Card or something...but you can do this in MS Word too.

I just did the same thing for my daughter...she loves Dora and I just copied some Dora and Boots images from the internet and created the invites myself. I hope this is helpful.
