I am looking for a reasonably priced (probably independent) photographer that allows us to keep the dvd of our photo session. My husband and I have a 3 year old boy and I am 31 weeks pregnant with a little girl. We want to do tummy pictures and are hoping to find a photographer that works well with children. I use alexander photography in Prescott, she drives down, But she is EXPENSIVE and does not let you keep the DVD. My brother in law is a photog student at ASU and he is co-owner of Grandview photography. He lets you keep all you pics on a CD. He believes that since the pics are of you, they should belong to you, not him.

We go to Katrhyn Smith, she has a studio at her house in Gilbert. Her website is www.katsmithportraitart.com and her sitting fee is like 60 bucks and you can get a CD of all of the images from your session for $350. You can also order prints from her. we've used her several times, she specializes in pregnancy and baby photos and she is very patient, will stop to let you nurse the baby, etc...she's very good. I just had mine done last week and am really happy with the results. I am 36 weeks pregnant, I don't have any other children, but the photographer showed me portraits of other moms and they looked great. She does them from her house, your house or a studio. It's called Moon photography, her name is Debbie and she lives a few houses down from me. You can look it up on the web, or email me back and I'll give you the number.

This is a stay at home mom, she does the photography on the side and she is wonderful. She just did my family pictures and pictures of my son. She is sooo good with kids and gets amazing shots. My son was 15 months when she did his pictures and she basically followed him with her camera and got great natural shots, plus she does really fun family shots.
