I'm Sure This Has Been Asked Lots of Times But....

i cant remember the name of the company but i saw this on good morning america about 2 years ago. it is a job for the 1-800 numbers of companies like j crew, gap, etc. some are their catalogue dept and some are customer service. you have to have a dedicated computer line and phone i think, but the mothers they interviewed said it was the best thing ever. you work at least 20 hrs per week at times that work best for you (since these are 24-7 operations). check the gma site and do a search on it for jobs at home or something a long those lines.

I'm sorry but a lot of the things you see are MLM's and places that require investment, recruiting and selling.

Yes, I do work from home, however, it is in an industry we have been in for 25 years, non-MLM. Very time consuming but rewarding.

How about your secretarial or accounting skills? Lots of places like us would look to hire someone and allow working from home AS LONG as the focus was on the job when needed and job was done correctly the FIRST time. Working from home is hard work.

Hi...I didn't take the time to read the other posts, so I dont know if someone suggested this, but I worked from home for 2 years doing medical billing. It paid pretty good and the benefits of being at home was great. You usually get to pick your own hours and work at your pace.

Google it, I think they want some sort of training, but it usually isn't but a few months, maybe weeks....Good luck!

I don't know what your skill set or educational background is, but if you have a B.A. in English or a degree in some type of high school subject matter such as chemistry or history, then you should try to get on with one of the online curriculum companies. I do technical writer/editorial work for one of them that just merged with another, and it can be hit or miss, but we've had one project since February that is good for 20-40 hours per week depending on what you want. They hire SMEs, tech writers, curriculum writers, etc. If you've ever been a teacher, that's a huge plus, but you don't have to have a teaching background.

I own my own business and I work mostly from home, but I'm a photographer with a degree in art. My neighbor works from home as a medical billing agent. I think that you have to make a software investment (over 10k) but they do well and his wife only works seasonally for the IRS.
