I just had to tell someone! Of course, my hubby knows! We had a miscarriage a few months ago, went thru having a period and didn't go back on BC because we want to have another baby! We decided after that, that we aren't going to tell anyone until about 3 months in. My hubby and I(and you mamas) are the only ones who know! I laughed at the test because we must be the most fertile people! First try...again! Sorry...that sounded like bragging...but I'm excited.
I'm trying not to get to worked up and excited because I did that last time and it ended in miscarriage. And it's sooo hard not telling my mom, sister, MIL and SIL...I'm so close with all of them! But...it's easier than going back and telling them bad news!
Congratulations!!!! It's so great when you hear the excitement in a mommy-to-be's voice (or typed out words, but you know what I mean) it's beautiful :)

I agree don't tell anyone for a while, it just feels so special to be the only one who knows, however I don't know how you will manage to hide the perma grin LOL

That happened to me too, after I had had a miscarriage. So then, we waited before announcing it to everyone. That time. I now have my wonderful son!

I too had a one shot wonder after my m/c. It is soo exciting finding out such good news. We didn't tell anyone then I m/c'ed so we decided to tell our families with the next one right away to get rid of the bad carma. It was hard to tell our families we lost a baby when we hadn't even told them we were preggers!

Congrats on the new baby!! I understand you not wanting to tell family but remember they are a great support system and might be nice to talk to them about your excitement and fears.. But of course do what you are more comfortable with.. Keeping good thoughts going your way. congrats again.
Congrats...I wouldn't be able to hold it in spread the JOY it if ends in miscarriage you'll have them there for support & courage plus they are there for you during your pregnancy.

I know what you feel, after my miscarriage it took me a whole year to get pregnant again and didn't want to tell no one before the 12 weeks, but my sister and my mom, but they also knew that not making a big deal about it until the 3 month past, so maybe you can tell your family but tell them your fears and feelings about it.....
