I am having a small Easter party at my home on Saturday afternoon. I need some ideas for economical fun activities/games. What else do you put in plastic Easter Eggs besides candy? I am having a brain cramp! Also, is it okay...just so it's fair- to put a limit on the number of eggs each kid can get? This is not like a competitive Easter Egg Hunt-it's @ my house (for a reason)...

Thanks Mamas!

What can I do next?

You can put tattoos in the eggs, you can also put in little cards with a # on them & the # matches up to a bigger gift, say a dollar toy, box of crayons, coloring book, lip gloss, ball, etc.. you get the idea. A for limiting eggs, just let everyone know that the Easter bunny said each kid has to find __ # of eggs and once they find them, then they can begin to open them. hope this helps you & have fun!

I found some really cute duck shaped bottles of blowing bubbles that come with a wand at Walgreens, they were.50 each and looked like they would fit in a larger plastic Easter egg. Goodl uck with the party.

tattoos, stickers, coupons ("spaghetti dinner at aunt K.'s house" or similar), small toys.....

Yes, I would definitely limit the number of eggs per kid.....some kids are slower than the others, some are more pushy and the others more shy.....this way no one should be sad.....

You could have an egg relay, a potato sack bunny-hop, a scavenger hunt.....

My mom now puts bunny bucks inside the eggs. Then at the end the kids buy things with their bunny bucks. Like it more than candy because it is a little store. If you have different age groups we also do different color eggs. Green eggs for biger kids, orange eggs for smallest, and purple for middle age. Then you can hide them appropriately and helps to distribute the eggs. Within each age group I would say it is free for all.

Good luck!

We have a different color of egg for each child so each child only gets their color. Child #! gets all the blue eggs, Child #2 gets the yellow eggs, etc. We've been doing this for years and it works well for us. We put temporary tattoos, stickers, small toys, fruit snacks, coins (we used quarters this year),a little bit of candy etc. (My nephew is diabetic so we try to limit candy too) We also have bigger eggs of each color. In these we put small containers of play dough, lip gloss for the girls, parachute guys for the boys. I can't remember everything because I didn't fill them this year. This year eveyone got 5 small eggs, four big eggs and one gold egg Hope the party is lots of fun.
