I Need an OB

Highly Recommend: Woman's Specialists of Plano ###-###-####)

I've been seeing Dr. Monier for 15 years and have always been pleased with the attention and care I've been given. He's delivered both of my children (unfortunately they were both c-sections) and has such a caring bed side manner. My 2 sisters and mom go to him as well. Love their staff too!!! He delivers at Medical Center of Plano.

Dr. David Fong at Medical Center of Plano (he delivered my twins at Plano Presby but I think now he just delivers at Medical Center of Plano and Baylor Frisco). He is outstanding.

Looks like you have lots of good options to choose from, but I really love my OB-GYN, so I must share! Dr. Arlene Jacobs at Plano Women's Healthcare...

She's delivers and offices at the Medical Center of Plano campus. She's been chief of staff before, has all kinds of awards and honors, and I'm pretty sure she's been a D Magazine favorite. I didn't know any of that when I started seeing her, though. Don't know if she's currently taking new patients, but everyone in the practice seems great. The one downside is that she sometimes runs behind schedule and you have to wait a little while. The upside is that it's because she really listens and spends good time on you when it's your turn. I've never taken a problem or question to her for which she did not have a solution. She is very good at what she does.

Dr. Traci Nivens ###-###-####) is wonderful. She delivered my son last May. Compared to my first Dr., who I thought was great, she was even better. She is very caring and also to the point. She is very easy to talk to and I never wait long in her office. They are great at scheduling. Also, her nurse is very sweet and helpful! When I was pregnant, I got an ear infection while in Georgia and she was quick to return my call and get an antibiotic called in for me. She's at Plano Presby

I go to Dr. Randall Burt and he delivers at Plano Presbyterian. We love him! I had many complications with my pregnancy last year and he was always there to take great care of me and give me the extra pampering.

My husband is also an MD and highly recommended him to his patients before I even knew him. He's incrediably smart but treats you like a queen and never talks over you like some doctors have a tendency to do at times.

I also love Plano Presbyterian and highly recommend their NICU....which you don't ever want to need but should plan ahead and have the best if your baby ever needs it.

Second the Ivan Rovner suggestion. I started going to him when I was pregnant with my first based on a suggestion from ny friend. She too swears that she saved her life and those of her twins. One draw back....he has kind of limited hours but still well worth it!!

Warning: He is not the warm and fuzzy type but he is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I've ever met!

He is now seeing me through my second pregnancy. :)
