My son will be on Arkids First and I'm from Fort Smith. I don't know of any of the doctors up here. I know down there there were some peds.that u needed to steer away from. Could someone help me know which ones are the "best" and the "worst"? My son is 15 1/2 months by the way. He's behind on his shots and needs to be circumsised. He was too little when he was born to do it then. Then they said we needed to wait for him to be old enough to be put under for the circumsision and would have to take him to a neurologist(? is tha right?) Anyways help me ya'll?!

i go to northwest peds clic in Fayitville they have servel doc's there and are great i have been goin to them for 5 years . i would not change to anyone. the doc that i take my kids to is dr ball or dr payton in the same clinic. as for your son for the cirumsised i have no idea i have all girls if you can't get in to a place try the health clinic for the shots. there good for that .
I have always liked the NWA Pediatric Clinic. I have taken both of my girls to this clinic, and we still use them with my youngest (she's 6). I know they accept ARkids too. You may have to get your PCP changed first. Call DHS, or stop by. They have a list of pediatricians that they can give you, then you can talk to people to narrow it down.

I love NWA Pediatric Clinic. I grew up with the doctors there, and they were there when my son was born. I have a few particular favorites, but all of them are good. Dr. Payton was my doc when I was a kid, and Dr. Jackson did my son's circumcision. They are both wonderful people, and the clinic is great about making you feel comfortable and helping you if there is something not covered by ARKids 1st....(there is very little that isn't covered, but my son has a rare eye disease that makes it a little more difficult).
