I was wondering if anyone had any idea about a divorce lawyer. My husband has been caught again cheating and I need to find a good laywer. I have been through this before with him but had a not so good lawyer. I do not have a lot of money because I was a stay at home mom so I can not afford much and I know thats hard to find. Please help if you know of a lawyer or have any advice. Thanks

I have used Kim Willoughby in the past. She works out of downtown. Last time I used her services, they were in the range of $180 an hour. This is a tough time I'm sure, but you will make it through. Get yourself a book called 'Children of Divorce'. I was told by a lawyer that is the book that the Colorado Divorce Judges keep on the bench. Good luck with everything and realize that you are not the only one that has been through this and there are numerous avenues of support.

My laywer is Tom Plogg, he has been awesome so far and I have a difficult situation. When I get home tonight from work I will look up his number. He is in the tech center, he cam recommended from a friend of mine and he went through a very nasty divorce.

You can file your divorce through the courts yourself for just the filing fee which, is considerably cheaper than using a lawyer. I filed mine that way. The courts will apoint child support and this can be withheld from his paycheck. Sign up with the child support registrey and they will automatically deposit your child support check into your bank account each pay period. As time goes by and support needs to be increase you can ask for your support to be re-evaluated through this service. It's is your responsibility to supply them with any employment changes he makes. If this is a nasty divorce or you feel you need legal advice you can call Family Tree, they are located in the white pages of the phone book. They offer a free legal clinic twice a month on Wed evening and the lawyers can be a great help. Some of them are willing to take cases on a sliding pay scale, depending on your circumstances. I went there and recieved advice and help in filling out all my paper work. They will supply the papers to you for free. If you go to the court house there is a small fee for the divorce package. I would recomend you call Family Tree they are very helpful. Good Luck!
