I am always working and never have time to meet people outside of my work. I am looking for a group of mothers who get together every week and my children can play and interact with other children. I work Tuesday-Saturday from 4am to 12:30pm. So I am looking for a group that meets in the afternoon or evenings. I live in the Midtown area but would be able to drive if needed anywhere in omaha. If anyone knows of a group of mothers and children your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also looking for a way to meet other moms here in Omaha. I'm in the Midtown area too (66th & Decatur) and for now my outings consist of me taking the boy for walks at parks around the area. (I have a 1 year old son.) I work PT from 7-midnight M-F, so Mondays or afternoons the rest of the week sound like the would work best. Hi, my son is one year old. I actually have five children. I also am married, work full time and busy with children. My one year old barely gets to interact with kids his age because my kids are between 10, 11 and 12. If you would like to get together and get one going I like going to parks, shopping. I spend alot of time alone too so I know what it is like and don't have much time for myself. I am 33 years old. Do you ever have a Sunday available or sometimes on Saturdays I'm available too. All of us moms need something like that because sometimes it just feels like were the only one in the world that is alone and we have no friends. It would be great if we could get something going even if we ourselves couldn't find what were looking for out there.
S. - I'm going back to work, so I don't have anytime to join a playgroup. But while I was staying home, I joined the Mom's Club ...it's an international group with several chapters in Omaha - it just depends where you live. It's $25 to join, they'll put you in a playgroup if you want and there are always lots of fun events where you can meet other moms at. There's also lots of MOPS groups at various churches if you're into that - they typically meet every other week during the school year . You hang out with moms and the kids go to the nursery at the church. There are also websites like meetup.com or matchingmoms.com or message boards on MSN or Yahoo for Omaha Area Moms. Good luck!
