Hey....How is Friday treating everybody??

I have had a poopy week...from flat tires to bad moods and fighting kids it has just stunk.....This morning I woke up with the sun. It was great and I told myself it was gonna be a good day. Had a pleasant visit with a ''Friend'' mama, while waiting for my youngest to get done with Speech Therapy...He fell alseep on the way home and my four year old chattered my ear off...it was about a police officer so at least it was interesting chatter:) I took full advantage of my youngest one napping and started cleaning...my sweet boy GG has been playing ''Quietly"" just around the area I am currently cleaning....I have the new Ben Harper playing on the radio and I am at peace with the crappy week.

I have not been on much this week...Due to the bad stink mood I was in...If I cant be nice to my hubby and/or say nice thing to people....I shouldnt be around them:) Hope you have a great weekend...where ever it takes you!!!

What can I do next?

Yeah... this week has kinda sucked as well.

It probably "shouldn't"... seeing as it's our first week home (after 3 weeks at children's hospital)... but I'm completely and totally overwhelmed. Between kiddo's medical care, the house being thrashed, not sleeping enough (4 hours being the BEST I've gotten all week, some nights none, some 2-3), no groceries or money for groceries, my brother's wedding next week in NY, losing my driver's license (I have to replace it to fly, but the only place to do so at takes a min of 5 hours because our city closed down all but 2 DMVs with a population of 2million), ordered shoes (for the wedding) coming in the wrong size, family hounding me about wedding details (no, I haven't booked a rental car yet), husband's job changing (meaning our insurance changing, which is HUGE because a lapse could put us on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars), being in constant pain... I don't know whether I'm coming or going. Oh yeah. And my last working bra broke.

ROFL... you just gotta love life, though. SO much better than the alternative. And it's sunny today :)

Well I WAS having a crappy week, but then just found out our little Lee P is expecting, which is the coolest thing I've heard in a long time. And SO VERY Toast Worthy!

Everybody, snap out of it and lift a glass to Lee!

Pinkies up!

Cheers!

My whole month has been bad. My Mom, 94, had a dizzy spell Easter night and fell, I called 911, she was in the hospital until Wendesday. At that time hospice was set up for her, as end of life comfort care. She can not be left alone for more than a few minutes. I can't even cut my grass unless someone is here to stay in the house with her. I have to schedule all errands for a time when a volunteer or one of my kids can be here with her. She won't go to a nursing home and I wouldn't send her. But basically I'm confined to my house until she passes.
I'm trying to stay cheerful.

I had a crappy week too! It started with my 3 y/o tripping and hitting his head on the fireplace and being rushed to Urgent Care with an inch and a half and very deep gash above his left eye.
Hoping this weekend will be better for everyone :)
ETA ~ Oh, Riley! Your week makes mine look like a walk in the park!! I pray your son continues to get better and that you get some long over-due rest!!

Thanks for letting me know that I was not alone this week. After reading everyone else's posts, I feel kind of bad saying I had a 'bad' week but I guess everyone is different.

Had the worst time getting the kiddos to fall asleep last night. Swear it took over an hour. I was so frustrated!

Have to get new tires on my car....and our truck...and hubby's car (soon).

Can't seem to get a hold on the weeds in our yard and driveway no matter how much money we spend on weed spray or what kind of buy.

Kiddos were up late the past few night which means less alone time for hubby and I.

I haven't sat down to watch any of 'my' shows in over a week. This is a minute thing but hubby and I have been watching tv together, which I'm grateful we can do together, but sometimes I want ME TIME with my own shows!

Only worked out 1x this week (aiming for 3) so have to do it this weekend.

Have been eating badly this week, too.

I'm sure I could reply to a post about how well things went this week (becuase where there is bad, there is good, too). Just feels like a long week and not a great one.

Hope you all have a better weekend!!!!

I've been fighting myself this week. I don't have anything in particular to be grouchy about. I just FEEL sick of the dirty dishes, sick of the laundry that's never done, tired of seeing my family run to and fro without ever even thinking that maybe I could use some help or maybe I'd like to get out. I can't even water the garden for 15 minutes without my mother and other housemates allowing some child to make some big mess. No one's been hurt and my husband even "helps" with the laundry. That is, if you can call it help by doing it way after I go to sleep and then leaving it in a basket in a big heap so that when I get up it's all wrinkled. My hair bands have been broken. My dog has been a little yipper. My income has taken a pretty big dip and I keep doing less and less and looking for ways to save money. So yeah... I share your potty week.

My week was crappy. Really crappy. But, my step son is graduating high school tomorrow and we're taking him out to dinner tonight, so, it's looking up! All I have to do now is work till 5, pick up a Traget gift card for his girlfriend and a walmart gift card for him, a balloon bouquet, a cake, my husband and 2 little ones, get dressed up, and be at the restaraunt by 6! yikes. Somethings gotta give somewhere!
