My husband has a motorcycle he is trying to sale. Does anyone know of a website or other ways we can list it other than craigslist, ebay, or a for sale sign on it. We do have it listed on craigslist but so does 100s of other people so w/that we haven't had much luck.

What can I do next?

We used Craigslist to sell a car and it sold within 3 days. A man flew to Dallas, went to the bank to see it and paid our price.

Of course it was in perfect condition, low miles etc but we posted a couple of pics and it was gone.

Craigslist works well if you present your items well.

Are there any motorcycle clubs or shops in your area? I would go in there and ask if they know anyone looking for a bike, and see if they would mind if you posted an advertisement.

The newspaper, other cities around your area on Craigslist and consider he has it priced too high..

We always have had great luck on Craigs list..

Do you guys ever go to any motorcycle Rallies. That is another great time to sell it.. Polish it all up, Put a for sale sign on it with all of the other bikers.. they will snap it up..

There is a key to selling on Craigs list. Make sure you have a picture and you need to run the ad every day. If you only do the add the one time the ad gets buried.
I have had great luck selling items this way.

Craigs list is funny. You don't have to go rock bottom but pictures ar key. photo the milage, tell the miles per gallon, say when the last time it was in the shop and why. put the brand and type of bike in the title and then put a list of common misspelling of the name and type in the bottom of the ad. Most important, why are you getting rid of it. Also it is good to see what a bike shop would take for it. Put that in the ad and then say that the shop would just double the price and sell it so you just want 3/4th of what they would sell it for. Do bike have a blue book value? if they do link to it if you are asking for less so it looks like a deal.
