How to Get Out the Stains Out of All the Onsies?

Take a tub or large pan and soak the onesie in hot water, some detergent and oxiclean. Leave it in for a week if you have to--it won't harm the fabric. It worked for me.

1/2 cup of liquid laundry detergennt + 1/2 cup of powder bleach to 1 gallon of hot water, mix and let garmemts soak overnight. Next day launder as usual. This gets out everything, been doing that for years.

Soak them all overnight in a strong solution of oxyclean powder and warm/hot water. Dump the whole bucket into the wash the next day and wash as normal. It should take care of most of the stains. Good luck.

This has worked for me when my son was an infant and I still use it today. Hot water and oxyclean as soon as I took his onesies off. Usually I had to let them soak a day on tougher stains I would change the water and let them soak until I was ready to wash them. The oxy spray didn't work for me either.

Soak in super hot water with detergent and 2 scoops of oxy clean over night then wash normally dumping the whole soak bucket into the machine..this method works everytime for us...good luck!

Throw them out. I've never found anything that can get rid of these stains. I think they make babie's onesies with reverse scotch-guard so they'll stain even worse than normal. lol! I don't know what it is, but for some reason these stains never, ever, ever came out of my kids' onesies, and I tried just about EVERYTHING.

I was looking for a way to get the deodorant stains from my husbands t-shirt and looking all over the web I found something that WORKED and may also work for your problem. Try soaking the onsies in a solution of water and cascade powder dishwashing detergent - I soak the clothes in the water and then worked the cascade into the stained area and then let them soak for about 30 minutes. IT WORKS for the under arm stains and I had tried almost everything. GOOD LUCK!

Get stained white socks and dingy dishcloths white again. Add 1 cup white distilled vinegar to a large pot of water, bring it to a rolling boil and drop in the articles. Let soak overnight.

Some stains on clothing and linens can be soaked out using equal parts milk and white distilled vinegar.

Remove perspiration odor and stains on clothing, as well as those left by deodorants, by spraying full-strength white distilled vinegar on underarm and collar areas before tossing them into the washing machine.

I've heard from moms who use cloth diapers that they put the diapers out in the sun to bleach out stains. Maybe you can try that. The sun bleaches out the stains. Although I wonder if it would only be good on all white onesies?

I absolutely LOVE Zout. I get an old toothbrush and, after spraying in on the stained area, I'll let it set and soak for awhile before washing it. I have been really shocked at some of the stuff that Zout can get out.

Soak the onesies in a sink with baking soda and peroxide for about 30 minutes. Wring them out, put OxyCLean (the powder) on the stains and let them sit again for 30 minutes, then wash them.

It may just be an alternative to Oxyclean, but my mother introduced me to Biz and it is great. You can sprinkle some of the powder on the stain, and work it in with a little water until it becomes a paste, and it does a great job. I also add a half cup to all my whites, and it brightens them up. It is a relatively inexpensive thing to try, so you should grab a box at Wal-Mart or somewhere similar.

I have had trouble finding it lately, but I love the clorox bleach pen. I don't use any other commercial laundry, I use natural products from Melaleuca, but I still find that I need bleach every once in a while. Of course, only use it on white areas! If you find it somewhere let me know! My walmart/kroger don't carry it here anymore. I'm going to have to try target and kmart, too!

I know you received quite a few answers. Dreft Laundry Stain Remover! Oh my gosh, that works so well! I have even had the onesies sitting there for a couple days, soiled. I can still do what I do and WALA! :-) I rinse it out, swishing it around, getting most of the stains off, then I spray the Dreft on there, still running the hot water, spraying and swishing it. Throw it in the washer with Dreft Detergent (or one of your choice)and your stains are gone, or very light. I am only dealing with yellow stains, but should work on any color!

I spray the heck of stains with Oxyclean for Babies. Maybe it's just psychosomatic, but I think it works better than regular Oxy. Then I let it sit and wash it on warm or hot. If the stain remains, I don't put it in the dryer. I put it back in the wash, maybe with more Oxy and some detergent scrubbed in. Usually that works. I've saved a lot of clothes that the daycare thought were a loss that way. Maybe you should pre-emptively spray the front of all his onesies before you wash them?

I would spray the stain with Shout and then put it in the washer and added some Dreft...and it worked very well. The stains would go away!

Instead of the spray Oxyclean, get the crystals, dissolve them in hot water and let the clothes soak for a day. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I never found anything that worked better! Good luck!

I haven't been able to get them out of any of my outfits so if you figure out a way I'm in interested in that information. good luck

It may possible be your water. Depending on the location of your residence or whether you have a well or a public water line. Does it affect any other whites?
