Sol U Mel will get out red lipstick and wine so why not crystal light?
Hi Moms,
Last night my girlfriend spilled red crystal light on my shag area rug.. We thought we got it out but when we got up this morning we saw there's a big red blotch still... Any suggestions on how to get it out??
Thanks Moms,
I got the Oxyclean and it did "help" but there still is a slightly pink color on the area rug..

I have used car upholstery cleaner. I got it at Autozone and it has a scrub brush topper on the can, and there are various brabds, Turtle Wax or Blue Corral, Tuff Stuff, etc. These take out anything!
Sol-U-Mel would work wonders on this and any other stain on cloth. It is a product put out by Melaleuca. I have used it on clothing, blankets, and my couch. I can get you in touch with my rep or you can send me a personal message and I can order it and ship it to you. If interested, I can give you the pricing information if I make the order for you. It comes in an 8oz concentrated bottle. You mix something like 1 part concentrated solution to 6 parts water depending on what you're cleaning and it works wonders.
"What Stains Does Sol-U-Mel Remove?
Sol-U-Mel is a miracle worker when it comes to even the toughest stains—like tar, grease, gum, fingernail polish, paint, glue, juice, tree sap, candle wax, and more. Sol-U-Mel even dissolves permanent marker on contact."
Taken straight from the Melaleuca order site.
Oxi-Clean seems to work well. I haven't tried all of the products "with" oxi-clean, but have the powder. I have also heard hydrogen peroxide...but that may bleach...so be careful!
I would try some oxy clean or resolve with oxyaction. Good luck
I have used Folex for carpet stains. I get it at Lowes.
I was just talking about carpet cleaning with my sister and we talked about the Rug Doctor that you get at the grocery store. It worked great on her carpets and mine. The regular Rug Doctor liquid didn't work on her red fruit punch stain, but she went back to to the store and found out they make a stain remover specifically for red stains. She hasn't tried it yet, but it's something to look into.
