Oxi-clean carpet spray has taken the world of messes out of our carpets. I would try that.

Sol-U-Mel is an awesome stain remover. My understanding is you aren't charged for normal wear & tear but excessive damage you are. I don't know how big your stain is.

"Spot Shot" aerosol, it's in the cleaning aisle in the store.
It got out old red ink stains in light our grey carpet.
It may take a couple of applications, don't forget to dab the stain - do not rub!
Good luck,
ML

Borax or Tuff Stuff.

Borax is in the laundry aisle. Tuff Stuff has worked on all of my upholstry and you can get it at an auto parts store. LOVE TUFF STUFF! We even used it on our cushions of our dining room chairs.
