I didn't get to do this, but I was going to make a CD with all sorts of baby-related music. Go online and look up songs with the right titles or lyrics. Hope you get a chance to do this...

hi there,
I am currently trying to conceive my second and I'm looking for some unique ideas on how to tell my husband that we are expecting a second. I would like something different than the t-shirt that says "i'm going to be a big sister" Any ideas???
Hi Everyone,
All of your ideas are great! i will definitely be using one or maybe even two or three!!! Thanks again and I will let you know what happens when I finally concieve!!

I don't think this will help you, but this is what I did:
My husband and I were married in 1985 and had wanted children from the get-go. I miscarried in 1987, then years and years of nothing. Finally, in 2002, I became pregnant for the first time!
I read the comic strip, "For Better or For Worse" and tell my husband the story lines. At about this time, 2 of the characters, Mike and Dee, were expecting too. We really enjoyed reading that storyline, as we were going through it ourselves.
A couple of years later, I told my husband that Mike and Dee were expecting again. My husband laughed and said, "Are you trying to tell me something?" We both laughed; we figured that, having to wait 17 years for our beautiful daughter, Deborah, a second child was asking for too much.
A couple of weeks later, I asked my husband, "Remember what I told you about Mike and Dee?" He said yes. I smiled and said, "I'm going to punch Lynn Johnston [the author] right in the nose." My husband stopped and went, "YOU'RE KIDDING!!!"
Our lovely Elizabeth arrived the appropriate amount of months later.
For my third child, I wanted to tell my mom in a different way. So, I got a little ring box and put a grain of rice inside of it. I taped a little note to the inside cover that said "This is the size of your grandchild right now". She loved it!
Hello, my name is Ben and I would like to answer this one for my wife. Prior to the birht of our 1st son,(we too are expecting our second). My wife informed me by wrapping up a Willow Tree figurine titled "New Dad". If you are unfamiliar with Willow Tree products they are very nice, simple statues(for lack of a better explanation) The "New Dad" figure shows a man holding their child in his hands gazing intently at the life in his hands. I cherish the present and I thought it was very creative. She purchased it at a Christian bookstore in Groton by the name of Cornerstone Bookstore...I am unsure of your residence but I am quite sure if you went on line you would be able to locate them. Wrap it up with the sonogram picture...He'll love it!
Put on your maternity top with your belly stuffed with a pillow and greet him at the door like that!
Why not include him in the process so that you don't have to 'tell' him at all, but you discover it together?
How about a night shirt that says IT WORKED BUT WE CAN KEEP TRYING ANYWAY!
Put a bun (bread) in the oven and take a picture of it....see how long it takes him to figure it out!
How about giftwrapping the pregnancy test stick?
maybe a billboard if u know jhe is going down 495
when i told my boyfriend i was pregnant i took the pregnancy test and put it next to his pillow so when he woke up it was the first thing he saw but since we werent trying to concieve i didnt have much time to think of anything else he thought it was cute good luck!!!
This sounds like fun! If you want to have fun with this (as I probably would!) try to get a recording of a newborn baby crying, then play it in the middle of the night. Might be fun to see how he reacts!
play a game of pictionary and after a couple of rounds, draw a picture of a you pregnant!congratulations and good luck!!
