T.H.
I never wash my car! I count on spring to do the job for me! The only time my car gets washed, literally, is when my husband thinks it's too dirty and HE takes it! :)
My car needs a wash but it has and will be raining on and off in this month. For example, today and tomorrow will probably rain, then I could take it to wash on Saturday, but it looks like is going to rain on Monday, I don't think is wort it to take it to wash but it sure needs to be cleaned after the last snow day.
Do you take your car to wash even if you know it will rain the next day or the day after? Or you just let it be until the rainy days are not as often?

I just wash it when I feel like it or have the time or energy.
When I wash it, I also wax and clean/vacuum the interior.
LOL The Rain Washes my car ;-)
you're supposed to wash a car? kidding, i obviously don't do it enough. i think about 2 years ago... bad bad
I took my snow tires off today and I'm washing my car tomorrow. So it will be sure to snow and the roads will get fresh gravel the day after.
I never wash my car - when it rains, I let Mama Nature wash it.
I wash my car (myself, not at a car wash) maybe once yearly, early summer. The rest of the year, I count on the protective crust of dust to shield the paint from UV rays. ;-)
I'm not as much into appearances as I am into reducing the energy and resources I use. I'm doing my small bit for future generations.
I have an abnormally close relationship with my car. I wash it weekly, rain, snow, or shine!
(course the inside is a different story!)
:)
Maybe once. But I'd probably wait until June.
But then, we don't get ice here, so there's no salt on the car. I suppose if there was, I might wash it more often, since I've heard that the salt isn't good for the paint.
My car is parked on the street. It gets washed maybe once a year, the rain does the job otherwise.
I will wash if going to rain the next day cause the weather man never knows! But, I don't during April cause the pollen just coats your car and 20 min after a wash it is covered in pollen.
Oh yes. It is supposed to be nice here finally tomorrow and I happen to have a day off. My car is filthy and it may rain Sunday. At least it will be clean for a little while and no salt left over.
Plus for some reason the inside smells like it has been in an oily garage. Ugh, shampooing too.
OK...before kids, I would wash my car by HAND 1 or 2 times per week in the spring summer and fall..winter rain or shine, I would pressur wash the salt off...now that i have a WOPPING 1 kid..I havent done anything except make sure its outside when it rains since 2008... I WILL say hubby washes it by pressure washer or by hand about every quarter...PS I drive a BLACK santa Fe.
I am a bit OCD with my car. I wash it when it is dirty, that means any spotting, etc. It is washed At LEAST weekly and sometimes more. The inside is kept as nice as the outside as well.
Granted... I no longer have a little kiddo in tow and my kiddo drives her own car now so it is easier for me than someone with children. My daughter washes hers at least weekly as well.
EDIT: Be careful of the car washes you drive through. Sometimes the tracks can scratch the wheels. I drive a black Sport Mercedes SL550 and the wheels got damaged at the car wash and I spent over $100 to repair the scratches. I never go through a wash like that anymore.
I park outside so yep, it gets washed when it rains... But once about every 3 or so months (or when hubby decides he wants to go for a drive on dirt roads) I will pay for a car wash so that the bottom gets cleaned
Every week for us!! Love a sparkly clean car inside and out!
What I would do is get a cheap Hand car wash http://www.detailxperts.net/hand_car_wash_exterior_steam_... done when I think the car needs cleaning even if rain is predicted the other day or the day after, its just what you prefer at the end though.
