My oldest son just discovered his first loose tooth! Very exciting! But I am wondering...how much $ the tooth fairy leaves for lost teeth these days?
We do $1 in those Gold Dollars per tooth and my 7 y/o loves that he gets a "gold" coin
My boyfriend just found out that his baby's momma gave Alex $5.25 for her first tooth! I thought that was kind of high, but I might be out of touch too. Heck, kids are getting cell phones before getting into high school now! Yikes! Good luck!

Boy, we dealt with this same thing a couple of months ago. I asked around and found that a dollar was about average. Some a little less, some a little more. So we went with $1 in quarters, which our son thought was really cool. Maybe when he gets older we will do paper money , since that gets cooler as they get older and maybe up it for bigger teeth. For now we are sticking with $1. Good luck.
