We use Comcast for high-speed internet; Even bundled with other services, we pay $54.99, and I just got notified that it's going up AGAIN!
We have verizon dsl and only pay 19.99 a month...that's not a promotional price either...and our internet speed is pretty good...i have no complaints...and for those who asked about internet without phone, we don't have a phone line...what they can do is set up what's called a "data line" for the internet...so you do not need phone to have good internet...we don't have a bundle or anything either...just the internet from them...
I know, don't i sound like a verizon comercial...lol...but really we love it....
I think you can call and adjust it by the promotions they have. I think were at 14.95 with At & T
we have Comcast. And we pay 21. a month for hi-speed internet for the economy package. I see no difference in the other package we were using for 45.00 a month.

Can you get internet service without phone service?
WE pay 20 at ATT , but it depends on the speed you have. We originally paid 15 with a year promotion and at the end of the yr the guy said I could still pay that , but our speed would be slower, so I paid the extra 5 bucks/month to keep our speed. It works for what we do.
I'm not sure how it breaks down but we get cable internet through the Comcast triple play package that includes internet, phone and cable, we pay 120 per month but we also have several premium packages bundled into it (hbo showtime etc).
Comcrap (aka Comcast) and I pay $61.95/month for high speed cable internet. I have been fighting them for months to get it lowered. They say it is this high because I don't have multiple services with them, just internet.
Does anyone know of any internet services where you don't need a telephone line to use it? The reason I ask is that our line was cut while the swingset was installed. It's ok for our phone because we use VOIP but the internet connection is the one causing me to stay with comcast as they are the only ones I know of that go through the cable lines and not the phone line.
