G.M.
I've had my daughter at Little People's on Hillgrove in LaGrange since she was 18 mo's old. She is now 6. Overall, it has been a very good experience. She graduated from Kindergarten this June and to see all the activities (art, reading, writing, science projects, etc.) that they have done over the years has been great! Amazing to see how she's soaked up so much knowledge.
This past year, they took over space across the street on Catherine. They created the Little People's Academy of Arts & Education. They do all sorts of educational activities w/ the kids! They have an art studio, artistic (theater) studio, culinary studio (i.e. the kitchen where they'll make bread, salads, etc.), gym area. They brought in a yoga teacher, a karate teacher, go to gymnastics, etc. In addition to the "fun" stuff, they have the kids doing math, reading, writing in journals, etc.
However, please note that there have been some changes in staff recently, so I cannot vouch for the staff they'll have should you decide to put your children in. However, since my daughter's been there this long, they have always been caring teachers who seem to truly take an interest in my child.
Good luck finding a place.
