Are there any other moms out there that are addicted to Mamapedia?? I love this site. Every time I walk by the computer I look to see what other Moms are asking and then I sit down and can't get up!! It's so great to have a ton of Moms with different opinions or views on topics. Then you all send me flowers for my input! It's so great :)
Funny, because I was going to post this also!! I am so addicted lately - but my life is tough right now and the mom's on here are for hte most part amazing!!
LOL!! I ALWAYS have 3 tabs opened in my browser...my email...facebook & mamapedia!! I am so addicted to mamapedia! I love it! My hubby and kids not so much! But this is something I consider as 'mommy time' :)
My husband makes fun of me because I always have it up in the background! I check Mamapedia as often as I check email and facebook, it's a regular part of my day. I can't resist seeing if anyone has issues similar to mine, or seeing if I know something that can help someone else. Plus, when I get a flower, it makes me feel important and appreciated and I like that! Thanks Mamas!
I constantly check to see if I got any flowers, and if there's any new scandoulous type questions.... lol......
I am a huge addict and I too like flowers and have it always open as one of my tabs.
haha I guess we aren't alone!! :) I will think about thinks throughout the day and think "oh I should ask that on Mamapedia..." hahaha

i check it at least 5 times in a day, i love the lighthearted mommy talk, and am intrigued by the hot button issues, the kindness, and the audacity of some.
I love feeling like I'm helping other moms. Sometimes in "real life" one cannot give her opinion for fear of offending someone or acting like a know it all. Here, people are asking for advice. I've gotten some great advice & I like to try to give some too! It is a form of mommy time & it serves a great purpose!
Haha, me, too! I love this site for asking questions to mommas I don't know and Facebook for asking questions to mommas I do know. I love it!!

THe ONLY thing I wish would be that there could be more of a "forum" type of thing instead of a question and ONE answer each kinda thing.
But I'm not complaining I'm here too much
So I am not alone.... As often as my daughter lets me, I stop by the computer and do a quick check!
Ha ha, wait until someone doesn't agree with your opinion and they report you, and then your post gets removed! :) I enjoy this site, but I get tired of all of the ooey gooey, overly sweet, don't want to offend anyone, answers on here. It is somewhat addicting though.

Ha. I think I am addicted too. I try to keep the computer turned OFF so that I'm not tempted to get on and read and check to see if I have any flowers. Who needs facebook when I spend all my time on mamapedia?

HA! HA! I had this problem with facebook and various blogs I follow too! It can get boring being a mom and sometimes any form of entertainment will do! I solved this by setting a time limit for myself and actually setting a timer for me so that I have to get up and turn it off. I also use it as a reward for getting housework done, exercising, or just to take a break during naptime. Just use it in moderation and try not to check in while you're supposed to be playing with your kids;-) Good Luck!
