Help! Hashbrowns Hogging the Freezer!

This is silly, but I am at a loss as to what to make with all these Ore Ida hashbrowns in my freezer. I guess my husband really likes them, because he keeps buying more! However, I don't really like the way they cook up in a skillet. Does anyone have any ideas for other uses, like a casserole?

What can I do next?

Do an Egg Bake for a weekend morning.
INGREDIENTS
1 (32 ounce) package frozen cubed hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 eggs
2 cups milk
1 dash paprika
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, combine hash browns, bacon, 1/2 cup cheese and salt. Spoon into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. In a bowl, beat eggs and milk until smooth; pour over hash brown mixture. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 45-50 minutes until golden. Top with the remaining cheese.
Note: This dish may be prepared in advance, covered and refrigerated overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

Or my Mom makes a great cheesy hashbrown bake, we have it at almost all of our holidays. Yummy!

CHEDDAR CHEESE HASH BROWN POTATOES
1 (2 lb.) bag hash brown frozen potatoes
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 stick butter
1 (12 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped onion

Mix sour cream, chicken soup and onions in large bowl. Add potatoes, put in 9"x13" pan, cut the rest of the butter. Spread over the top of the corn flakes and cheese. Put the above ingredients over the potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

Or do an internet seach on google for recipes with Hashbrowns. My favorites are cooks.com and allrecipes.com
Good luck and have fun!

I have an awesome recipe for cheesie potatoes! You just need a package of frozen hashbrowns, a small container of half and half, 2 tablespoons of butter, a container of Parmesan cheese and a package of shredded cheddar cheese.

In a 9 x 13 pan, layer the parmesan cheese and hashbrowns. Do a layer of hasbrowns and then sprinkle the parmesan cheese. Be very generous in your sprinkling, use a lot of cheese! Once you've used all your hashbrowns, then dot the top of the casserole with the butter. Then pour the container of 1/2 and 1/2 over the dish. Then spread the cheddar cheese over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour covered with foil, then check to see how it's baking. If it's almost done, then uncover and bake until cheese on top is melted and browning.

It's delicious!

I use hashbrowns instead of tater tots in my "tater tot" casserole. I use the cubed ones, but I'm sure shredded would be good too.

Spread Hashbrowns on bottom of 9x13 pan.
Add 1 lb. browned hamburger
In a large bowl, mix about 2 cups frozen mixed veggies with a small can of french fried onions, a can of cream of mushroom soup, a can of cream of celery soup, and a dash or three of pepper. Spread mixture over potatoes and hamburger.
Top with 1+ cups of shredded cheese (cheddar or co-jack)
Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes or until hot.
