Hey K.,

I belong to this company called Melaleuca. They have a product that is literally like liquid gold. It is called Solumel. It works on tons of stuff. Sticky stuff like gum is it's specialty! And the product is completely natural and non toxic!!! I would love to tell you more about the company if your interested. Email me. ____@____.com Good Luck.

This happened to me some years ago. Rub peanut butter where the gum is - when the gum comes out put come Dawn dish soap on the area where the peanut butter is- Here's the trick. The oil from the peanut butter gets the gum out. The Dawn dish soap gets out the oil from the peanut butter. Sounds weird but it works slick.

I have put ice on gum before and then it flakes of the carpet. You might need an ice cube or too to freeze it enough. If there is anything left the Dawn dish soap should take care of it.

You go girl!! God bless you and your family!! You have beat the odds!! AWESOME!! I work in a hospital x-ray department one of the things I do is mammograms. Not sure if that was your story or not but, it is truly amazing the spirit that these women who are diagnosed have. We all could learn from you!
Ok, back to the gum. I have four stain makers. They are 9,7,5,and almost 3!! The stains they can make!! I am shopping with Melaleuca and loving it. Not only do the products work, they are chemical free and safe for my kiddos! I would love to talk with you. Drop me a line....
Talk soon, A.

I totally agree with using peanut butter. It works great at getting gum out of almost anything.

If the peanut butter doesn't work, K., one of the non-toxic cleaning products from Shaklee that I share with families has 1001 uses - including gum in carpet :-)

Let me know if you'd like some info.
Good luck!
