Hello i have a friend who is in need of affordable daycare just wondering ig anyone has any suggestions.
I just started my 18 month old at Early Childhood Learning Center - they have 3 locations in the lakeland/bartow area, and are reasonably priced. ($43 per week for 2 days a week) I think it was $370 a month for full 5 days a week.

Clark Forest Hill Montessouri on Forest Hill Blvd. just east of I95. $500 per month for full time 7:30-6, snacks included. Nothing fancy. Very old school (she's been there almost 30 years) and a bit run down and cluttered, but amazing education. I put my son in there in February and by May he could count to 10 and backwards and knew all his letters by site and most sounds. I would tell your friend to focus on the teacher and not the structure when looking for a good school. Good luck.

How many children? What area? What is "affordable"? Ages of the children?
what side of town are you on? I live on the northside near main street and Golfair. I have my daugther in a wonderful daycare. Cost 70 dollars a week for over 1 yrs. open 630 to 6 and she accepts JCVoochures. If you are on the northside let me know and I will pass along her information.

Most churches will work with you. Not sure where your located or your friend. But I'd start there then call all the daycares you can find. Children's Nest used to be reasonable I'm sure with the economy most will work with your friend. Good luck!

there's something called CCRN? i'm pretty sure. that will help with the cost of daycare and your friend if eligile would pay either nothing for daycare or next to nothing. or check out home daycares. a lot of times they will be cheaper than an actual facility bc they are trying to get business. CHECK REFERENCES
