I have seen alot of adds online about Acai. I was wondering if anyone has tried it and if it had worked. The adds say you can lose alot of weight and it gives you energy.
Thanks for the info

I ordered from one site, it was supposed to arrive quickly and after 14 days of "ordering" I either had to cancel or be charged the $80 for a months bottle of it. It took 2.5 weeks to arrive, I did cancel it long before I got it since I didnt have enough time to "try" it out and when it did arrive, the plastic bottle was destroyed as well as the envelope and the pills were falling out of it. Needless ot say, I never tried it but I did find out that supposedly walmart and gnc sell it in pill form and juice form, so next time I get to either, I plan on trying it just to see what all the hype is all about ;)
Good luck, I just suggest finding it in a store as to ordering online and if you order online, read EVERYTHING because the fre trials arent for long and you have to cancel before a certain day of it being "shipped" or "ordered" not from when you actually get it.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!! I started drinking a fruit juice called Monavie about 1.5 years ago and LOVE it. It has 19 fruits but the Acai berry is in the juice. I can actually make it through the day without feeling like I need a cup of coffee (or two or three) to get me through that 2 pm hour or a nap (no time for that!!) We are broke but I just cannot give up my monavie. One side benefit that I didn't realize was that after drinking the juice for about 4 months, I completely stopped having menstrual cramps!! That is the best benefit of all. On the health side, researchers are looking at the acai berry as a possible way to cure cancers. There is no definite "yes, the acai berry cures cancer" but they are looking at it.

For more information, you can contact me, ____@____.com or just go to the website, www.monavie.com to get more information.

I tried it and it wasn't so great for the money. I prefer the Ning Xia Red which is made from wolfberries specifically grown in the Ning Xia provence. I get it at the same price as acai and it's organic and the first time I had 1/2 oz I could feel a surge of energy run through me. Acai seems like a bunch of hype and if it's high on the glycemic index it won't help you loose weight. Check out www.oil-testimonials.com to hear from other people what it did for them, just type in Ning Xia or NXR in the search. I can direct you to a distributor if you like.

G., you are right to ask about the benefits of Acai. It is in all the news because it is showing monumental health benefits because of it's antioxidant and phytonutrient properties. I personally drink MonaVie which is a combination of 19 fruit juices, about a third of which is the Acai berry. 4 ounces of the juice per day provide the nutrients of 13 servings of fruits and vegetables.

Some of the health claims that I have heard are fantastic. My niece drinks it to relieve the pain of osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. Jenny McCarthy, mother of an autistic son, has proclaimed it's benefits with her son in her new book.

There are no promises that it is a cure all, but I can tell you that it provides more energy, better sleep and a better sense of well being. It is not sold as a weight loss aid, but you just might find you have more energy and become more active which could result in lost pounds.

If you would like to know more about it, you can go to this website: http://www.mymonavie.com/toourhealth/

Take care,
G.
