What is your kid going to be for Halloween? What is your costume going to be?

My 2 1/2 year old is going to be an octopus and I'll be a scuba diver for our Halloween party!

What can I do next?

I love it! My daughter plans to be the Titanic, I'll be an iceberg, and my husband will be Captain Smith. Now I just need to find time to make them.

My youngest will be 23 months old for Halloween and will be Bam Bam. It just suits his personality at this time! I'm making him a costume from leopard print material with a bone to fasten the strap around his chest to the bottoms, and he'll have a club that he loves already.
My oldest will be 5 and he's ALL about dressing up in his suit and tie. So this year he'll be a gangster, in his suit and tie, with an AWESOME hat, and a machine gun (he's excited about the new gun). I'm going to paint a little mustache on him, and found a cute toy cigar for him to chew on but he said NO to the cigar, explaining to me that "cigaretting" will make you die, look stupid, and stink. (HAHA! Not gonna argue with that...cigar went to the trash). Instead of the cigar, he can chew on a toothpick. I've got an acquaintance with a gorgeous 1940 Dodge Coupe and he's letting us take a few pictures of him in by the car before we go out trick or treating.

Your idea sounds adorable. :)

My DD is 4 and is going as Ariel, but in her words, "NOT Ariel like a mermaid, Ariel as a princess - with feet!" Her reasoning is that Ariel cannot go trick-or-treating if she has a mermaid fish tail.

I don't have a specific costume, but I do have some monarch-butterfly colored type fairy wings that I like to wear with a plain solid black dress.

My DD is 17 months, and is going to wear her ladybug costume from last year. I bought a size up from what she was wearing then, and it completely swamped her but I was able to safety pin the fabric to look decent. She doesn't care, and it looks BETTER on her this year than it did last! lol.

I am dressing up as a guy. My hubby wears the same size clothes as me, so I am raiding his closet, putting my hair up under one of his hats, and using an eyeliner pencil to 'draw' stubble on my face. I did this a few years ago, and it was a huge hit. Best of all, it's FREE!!!! :)

I tried to talk hubby into dressing up as a girl... but he's not bending. Lol.

My 4 yr old wanted to be a ninja but he didnt want anything on his face, so we bought a black hoodie and put "Dont make me go all Ninja on you" on the back of it. We got some karate belt like material from the fabric store and made ninja belts with velcro'd on soft foam ninja stars. We bought him the ninja swords that go on his back, but obviously he cant bring them to school so thats just for trick or treating. Black pants/shoes.Done.

My 18month old likes to be like his brother, so his hoodie says "Ninja in training" on the back. Same belt, pants shoes, no swords. Done.

Im wearing a t-shirt that I had made with a cartoon ninja on the front with "Future ninja" underneath (on my baby bump). I didnt know what I was having at the time, so last week I had to sew a little pink bow on the ninja's head. It turned out cute and helped me reveal the sex to some of my girlfriends at a dress up bday party last week!

Daddy doesnt really like to dress up. I think I scared him one year before kids when I made him dress up as a referee and my lil dog was the football player! :)

I don't know if I'll do it, but I seriously want to go to work in a bathrobe and slippers and curlers in my hair.

Not very creative, but comfy.

I still haven't decided a single thing.

11 month old will be a baby Yoda from Star Wars. Hubby and I are thinking of dressing as Princess Leia and Darth Vader . . . if the price is right!
