I have a little more hair than most people. I had electrolysis years ago on my upper lip which worked well, but as I've gotten older, more is growing on the upper lip in the middle and on my chin.

I've been waxing with NADS..I bought it years ago and it lasts forever. It comes with waxing cloths which you wash and reuse. I heat it for a few seconds in the microwave if it hardens up a little. Waxing lasts 1-2 weeks and since I do it myself, it's very affordable.

If you can afford it, have your hair permanently removed by laser.

No matter how you remove the hair -- shaving, Nairing, whatever -- it will grow back as stubble.

Any time you try to remove hair, unless it is done permanently, you will get stubble.

Have you checked with the doctor to see if you have a hormone imbalance? Or..... is that your "normal" state? Some people have more facial hair.

Be careful, though..... you can get ingrown hairs that way......

What color is your hair? Unless it is very light, it very well could be the hair growing back. You could talk to your hair stylist about ways to fix you hair that minimize the way the sideburns look.

If this has been a distressing issue for you, you may want to consider laser hair removal treatments.

I would also suggest laser if this is really bothering you. A friend of mine did it and was totally thrilled once she was done. I think she went for 2 months to totally get it all. You might also want to talk to your doctor. You could have high hormone levels that might be lowered. The doc would know what, if anything, can be done.

Hi M., you should see endocrinologist.

If you can't afford laser, try bleaching. They sell bleaching kits for facial hair at a lot of places.
