My daughter has decided she would like a Hollywood Diva party at our house for her 8th (YIKES!!! Can she really be turning 8?!?) birthday party. Can any Mamas out there suggest any places that sell bulk hair accessories (clips, and other FABULOUS items for this Hollywood Jet Set). We have 15 girls coming and spending the night (or trying to spend the night), and we would like to have lots of beauty options for all of our starlets.

For hair accessories I'd try Sam Moon for nail polish, I'd try one of the beauty supply places like; Beauty Brands, Sally Beauty Supply, Ulta or even the Dollar Store.
The place to go is Sam Moon's to get hair accessories. There is one in Frisco near Stonebriar Mall and another at 35 and 635.

First of all, I highly recommend Simply Pretend too. We used her for my DD's party a few months ago and it was great! She has all the props and stuff you may want and also sells favor bags related to your theme for way cheaper than you could buy it yourself. I think you can buy the bags from her even if you arent renting a trunk.
Other than Sam Moon, I saw that stuff for pretty cheap at US Toy. They are in Plano off of Cuter and Legacy I think...I know they are online and you can double check th location there. They have TONS of cheap favor type stuff and I know we saw lip gloss, boas, jewlery and that kind of stuff there in bulk too.
I suggest going to Sam Moon to load up on cheap accessories....

Go to Sam Moon! There's one by Stonebriar Mall and also on Harry Hines is Dallas. You can get hair accesories in bulk and they are surprisingly great condition. They have a whole section dedicated to kids and also tweens.
US toys in Plano has bulk nailpolishes, cute lip glosses, and basically really cool stuff for your 8 year old-just go look! You could do goodie bags along the same theme.

Yes, they grow up quickly! I would start at hobby lobby and look for boas. They are so cute and you can pick up a bunch. You need big sunglasses and such. Little girl high heels and ect.
Hit Party City maybe, and costume shops...little more expensive. Probably go to Libby Lu in the mall. Not sure what malls they are all in but they are definitely in Stonebriar in Frisco, because I just got my niece some sassy gear there. The makeup and dress up there is really neat. Claires is a great choice for hollywood bling....in the mall. A toystore like toys r u might have some shoes or even payless, sometimes has the blingy little girl shoes(Think Wizard of Oz).

I havn't looked recently to see what they have but I know they usually carry bulk light up Jewelry, Tiaras, and lip glosses ect.
They are cheaper then US Toy/Constructive Play Things and have a far better selection. They usually fill orders the day you place them (if ordered before 4:00) and delivery has always been less than one week for me with standard shipping- even over the holidays!

Hi S., Go to a Sam Moon (Frisco Preston & 121). They have bags of scrunchies and hair things in bulk for very little money. Target and places like that sell nailpolish in sample sizes in packs of 6. They can each pick a color and then take it home as their favor. I hope this helps and have fun!

Also, a friend of mine had her girls make their own lip gloss using Kool-Aid and Vaseline.
Here is the instructions:
Just use petroleum Jelly and kool-aid. Warm up the petroleum jelly in the microwave for 30 sec or more. Then mix the kool-aid into it. Let it sit if you want it sour, or add sugar to make it sweet! You don't have to put it in the refrigerator either! Add a tiny drop of water if you like and mix it in. It stains your lips because it's kool-aid my lips were red and they looked cute! Taste it! it tastes good If you like sour or sweet.
I think she got the little silver tins to up the lip gloss in from a hobby/craft store. Fun! and cheap!
Try Sam Moon. They have big packages of hair stuff and accessories. As for nail poilish and stuff, I would go buy a bunch of the tiny ones at like Walgreens and put them in a big bowl! Get some lotions and cotton balls and lip gloss, etc. Sounds fun!
