Good morning! So, about 2 weeks ago I went in for my 6 month cleaning at the dentist. Everything was fine. She is not the most gentile dentist so I might be looking for a new one. But after I left my mouth felt very sore. I figured it was just from having a cleaning done. Well, with in the last 2 weeks my mouth under neath my tongue has felt SO raw it sometimes even hurts to eat! I'm probibly going to give her a call today, but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else before? From what I've read online it says that it could be an allergy to the dental products. It just seems to get worse and worse everyday. Has this happened to you? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Christine J. is right. Call. They need to know.
To feel discomfort from a cleaning 2 weeks later, doesn't sound normal to me...good luck! Could it be a latex allergy, I wonder?

I actually would go to another dentist have them take a look. 2 weeks sore is not normal.

That doesn't sound right. I would call today and tell them.

They don't know if anything is wrong if you don't say anything.

Yep! Call them...Maybe a day or two of soreness if they really had to scrape and clean the gums...but this should not be happening and yes time to find a new dentist. I hope you feel better. In the meantime try to eat bland foods that aren't acidic until your mouth heals
