I currently take my 4yr old and 2yr old to Sweet Grass Pediatrics and see Dr. Lopez. As much as I love her, and so do my kids when they see her, I hate waiting a good30-40min when I made an appointment to see her not to be seen on time. My friend suggested Palmetto Pediatrics and would like to know if any of you mom and dads have seen any of these dr and like them or not. My insurnace is tri-care and I can see any dr I want, i do not need a refferal. Any help is welcomed. thank you for your help today.

What can I do next?

Palmetto Pediatrics is the BEST! They have cared for my son for 17 years. My son had fever issues between 1 - 2 years, and they supported us beyond just caring. Dr. West has been with us, as well as several friend's children, and he may retire soon, so you will be seeing one of their other wonderful pediatricians. Great nurses and staff.

Did you know they are opening another office to relieve some of their patient's demands? My daughter see Dr. Lopez also and I am sure that you won't find a more caring, helpful doctor. You should ask about the new office location and Dr Lopez's plans for after she has her baby.

I take my son to Palmetto Pediatrics and it has been a good experience so far. We have Dr. Leonardi but have also seen Dr. West & Dr. Etheridge before which are great too.

Hi M.. We take our son to Palmetto Pediatrics and are specifically patients of Dr. Lowe. There are things we love and some things we aren't so fond of.

LOVE:
1. They have "walk in sick" hours every morning and afternoon
2. They see sick patients on Sat. mornings
3. We have never had to wait more than 15 min.
4. They have 2 sides of the waiting room for sick and well patients.

DISLIKES:
1. If you have an after hours call, you will be billed $15 for each call to talk with the nurse or Dr. (Not on your insurance, you will be charged)
2. Our son is almost 1 and we have been breastfeeding with a end date of his 1st birthday. The Dr. doesn't really seem to appreciate that we are trying to do what is best for him. It's like they say "breastfeeding is best, until you have the baby and afterwards formula is easier to track"

Hope this helps.
