I am looking for a good yoga DVD to do at home. I've never been to a yoga class so I'm a beginner (can't afford the classes!) I have done the P90X yoga DVD workout. Well, ok, not the whole 90 minutes, but maybe half! :) It kicked my butt.

We really like "YogaWorks" DVDs. We got them very cheaply on Amazon. There is a beginner DVD, to get you started. I recommend getting both The beginner DVD and the "YogaWorks for Everybody: Body Slim" DVD. If you move on from the beginner DVD quickly, it's a great one to continue with.

Must be the new year. For a beginner I'd reccomend Shiva Rae , but once you get the basic firm down graduate to stuff by Rodney yee.
If you want to go cheap;
Netflix has some on 'instant watch'
YouTube has some full-length videos
iTunes has some apps with pre-made yoga routines complete with descriptions and how-to videos for each pose (and relaxing music for during your practice). "All-in Yoga" is my favorite.
If you really want to take it seriously, sign up for classes with an instructor. Having someone physically adjust your poses so you're getting the most from your practice is the best way to go. Maybe only do a few classes and then transition over to videos once you feel comfortable and doing things correctly.
