Any recomendations on where to buy used baby gear and clothes. I can't afford much so I try and buy used. Salvation army doesn't have anything but clothes.
Is there any good places near Jacksonville that you would recomend?

I also went by belly buttons and they have excellent prices and service.
I know TotstoTeens has quite a bit of stuff have you tried there. The only one I know of is on Beach between Hodges and San Pablo. Hope you find some great places to go.
I've always liked Tots to Teens on Beach blvd somewhere around Hodges and Amy's Turn on 3rd st N in Jax beach.

JOIN A GOOD MOM AND BABY GROUP OR ASK PEOPLE AT WORK THAT JUST HAD A BABY. PEOPLE GET SO MUCH AT SHOWERS, ETC AND THE BABY ONLY USES THE CLOTHES AND ITEMS A FEW TIMES. DO NOT BE SHY. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THE BABY ITEMS ONCE THE BABY HAS GROWN OUT OF IT.
There are a ton of consignment shops in Jacksonville. It really depends on which side of town you were interested in. I personally think that the drive to the beach is worth it. There are a lot of great ones out there. If you needed a baby walker I know someone who was going to be giving one away that your welcome to have. Just let me know!
There is a consignment shop in mayport infront of the commisary. Where everything is a dollar they may have some stuff.
I have found a great consignment store. The clothes are only a DOLLAR, except for outfits, and boutique items. They have a huge selection of everything from clothes to toys to anything you need for a child. Really! It is called BELLY BUTTONS CONSIGNMENTS. They are located off Mayport road on the left hand side if you are coming from Atlantic. Have fun. The owners name is Jenny. Oh yeah she also buys stuff.
Thrift stores and some consignment stores, in out of the way places are good places to find stuff. Also yard sales. You can usually find good stuff at a community yard sale. Most babies are not in the habit of destroying their toys so most of the toys and other accessories for that age are pretty well preserved.
