Does anyone know a good plumber and/or contractor that will work in the West Valley? We are planning a remodel of two bathrooms.
Thanks everyone for your referrals. I plan to get started on this exciting and painful process. Wish me luck!

Hi L.,
I have an excellent plumber, he's been working with me for over 10 years, I own/manage apartment bldgs in the Valley, and more recently, we re-modeled a complete kitchen and bathroom at a rental house. The bathroom was really funky, the bathtub was in the wrong place, so we gutted everything out, he installed a new window, new tub and walls, new sink and cabinet w/a granite top, new 18" ceramic tiles, the works, its beautiful now. I highly recommend him, his name is Caesar Martinez, and his phone # is ###-###-####. Have fun!
I highly recommend Dennis of D & D Plumbing out of Encino. His number is ###-###-####. He is honest and does an excellent job! I can also recommend NK Construction for contractors. They just remodeled my kitchen and did an outstanding job. You can reach them through their website at www.nk-construction.com. Good luck!

I have an excellent plumber. I absolutely love Andre from Hydroman Rooter 877-292-7500. He redid our sewer and replaced all of our plumbing with copper, installed a new tub and all the fixtures in 2 bathrooms. He was the best contractor we had and we completely remodeled our house.
I know one 1- his name is cesar he is good and cheap ###-###-####
I know a fantastic person. He's done our kitchen, our guest house, a friend's spa in West Hollywood, my neighbor's bathroom and several smaller repairs on our property (new gate, new windows, minor plumbing, floor repair). He's really honest and does a nice job. Not too expensive (well, this kind of work always feels always expensive, but he's not as high as more commercial companies). His name is Oscar Martinez - ###-###-####. Good luck!
One more thought: you could call a few people to come out for estimates and see whose price/personality you feel most comfortable with. It is an important decision. I have friends who've had people walk out after receiving a certain amount of money or who aren't accountable later when there's a problem with the work - painful! So, yeah, I think you're smart to go on referrals - it's like finding a mechanic you trust. Good luck!
