Try Jr's for Hair and Kids Cuts,, Rochester Rd and Square lake rd. They have a good kids room, boats to sit in and videos to watch. Ask for Chrissy.
Can anyone recommend a cheap/reasonable place that gives good haircuts for toddler boys? The last place we went was ... well ... a disaster. I know there is Carnival Cuts, but it's like $16 a piece.

In Berkley on 12 mile West of Coolidge...The Chop Shop. Very retro 50's guys cutting the kids hair, even a cool dog named Roxy entertaining the kids. Your boys will also get a popsicle when they are done! Make an appointment if you can, they take walk ins but weekends are pretty busy! Enjoy!
Meijers on Rochester Road and Auburn. $10...Great with Kids...
JR's is nice... Sandy maljak is there cutting hair now.. she's great with kids
J.,
get yourself a pair of clippers. It is a one time cost that will give a lifetime of haircuts. I cut both my son and husbands hair.
I agree... go to sally beauty supply and geta $40 clipper.
It will pay for itself in 2 haircuts for 2 boys.
I have been cutting my husbands hair for 3 or 4 years...
it is pretty easy.
The first hairctu wasnt so good but I am improving.
Try "JR's for Kids" in Troy. They're on the corner of Square Lake and Rochester Road. They are a full-family service salon, and have a "specialty" for kids. I'm not sure what the prices are for children, but you could give them a call. ###-###-#### and they have a website too: www.JRsForHair.com. Good luck!
At any of these places, it really depends on the stylist you get, but we've had good haircuts for my son at BoRics off of 17 mile (Annie) - $10. There is also the Michigan College of Beauty (again, depends on the student you get), in Troy, on Rochester Road. Haircuts for kids there are about $7.
Ask for Carrie at Mario's in Sterling Heights (15 and Mound).
